A brand new thread for 2016.....:)

For old and new members alike....please join in and post food plans, meal ideas, how you use syns, weight losses and gains, how you feel.

I started exactly a year ago on 4 January 2015.
I weighed 14st 3lbs and was a size 16. Bloated and uncomfortable, I was mortified when I saw the scales.
In week 1, I lost 9lbs which has motivated me ever since.
I currently weigh 11st 3.5lbs and just missed my 3 stone certificate at Xmas. Put on 2lbs last week and not really expecting a loss this week but I want to get to 11 stone and then re set my target to 10 stone 7lbs.

I have gone down to a comfortable size 12 and even wore a size 10 Fat Face dress yesterday.

So, let's do this.

I feel quite excited. SW has definitely changed my life......:)

I've made some free chilli tonight but only veg in it is tomatoes and bit onion. What veg to have with it?? Normally I wouldn't bother! Got tinned n frozen types but don't really want salad with as boring best times but compared to red hot chilli going taste like nothing. What would you have?

FannyFanakapan · 18/01/2016 18:00

B: toast x1, small bowl of leftover porridge - counting as HexB for both

L: COurgetti with pesto (1s) and 6 cubes of lite feta cheese (2.5). QUark with choc shot (2)

D: Chicken and ham pie without the pastry, (counting 5); oven chips (2.5) and veg.

sn: Oh dear - a bite of a chocolate eclair forced on me by a small person. If I count it as 2, i can just stay in syn range for the day....

It has not gone to plan today - I have had sugar cravings which is never a good sign.

Heyheyheygoodbye · 18/01/2016 18:08

mangofizz · 18/01/2016 20:53

Fell off Saturday night/all day sunday, went out for our wedding anni on sat night then brunch on sunday and a dinner at the in laws. Didnt go wild with the food or drink really but justifying it to myself because I never go out any more, may as well fully enjoy it, it will probably be 6 months before I get a sniff of a night out again!!

Had Big Mac in a Bowl tonight, its fast becoming my favourite dinner, love it!!!!

Ain626 · 18/01/2016 20:57

Thanks all. WineandIntrigue that's a fab idea getting one of those weekly planners. I'll keep an eye out when I'm out shopping at the weekend. Though it's weigh in day tomorrow, so I'll ask my consultant for a couple of food diaries too I think. I think I really do need to track!

If I tracked I would avoid bad days like today as I would realise what I'm actually eating as the day goes on.

B - Nothing
L - Heinz cup soup - 4.5 syns
D - Chicken tikka massala and rice - Not sure. About 10 syns because of the sauce?! Everything else in it was free.
Snacks - Muller

HEA - Milk in tea

I forgot to take out a free bolognese for dinner (batch cooked and frozen) so was going for something really quick and easy after a long day. Not the best day in terms of nutritional food!

Ain626 · 18/01/2016 20:57

On the plus side I have avoided chocolate despite having cravings all evening!

WeShouldOpenABar · 18/01/2016 20:58

I followed the recipe in the thread!

I don't like cauliflower to be fair I just convinced myself that ricing it would imbue it with deliciousness , serves me right
