I saw that thread 4 was deleted with the message
about breaking Mumsnet guidelines.
The 3 previous threads were deleted too.

Which guidelines were broken?

Surely not!! I read the whole 4 threads!!! Who even has time to make this shit up and carry it on for so long

LindorDoubleChoc · 05/03/2025 11:39

What a surprise not. I'm still amazed at how many people are taken in.

Whatisthisbs · 05/03/2025 11:39

Whattttt? No, surely not bs? I was so invested. This thread will go soon though as taat

WilmaTitsDrop · 05/03/2025 11:40

Normally that sort of generic message means a PBP.

Or MNHQ have done a bit of digging into their previous posts and found glaring inconsistencies.

Annoying when they don't say though.

It is not really. I am asking which talk guidelines were broken.

It's very often the 2/3/4 thread sagas that end up that way.

After 4000?
Why not say PBP?

Perhaps the OP asked for it to be deleted as there were alot of identifying posts? Or the daily mail have got hold of it

StumbleInTheDebris · 05/03/2025 11:43

Sounds like Arsenal couldn't risk reputational harm of their star player!

That normally prompts the 'privacy concerns' explanation.

The MNHQ message said it broke their guidelines. They usually say if the OP requested deletion.

giveupmengetacat · 05/03/2025 11:45

I was still only reading through part 1!
Am I allowed to ask what happened?
Even if it was bs?
I got as far as him potentially staying out all night at a strip club.

So all 4 threads broke talk guidelines.

That's true, maybe MNHQ will clarify.

WilmaTitsDrop · 05/03/2025 11:49

AnneKipankitoo · 05/03/2025 11:47

So all 4 threads broke talk guidelines.

It sounds like the poster themself broke talk guidelines, as in they were possibly a PBP.

INeedAnotherName · 05/03/2025 11:49

I thought the mods were going to put better deletion notes going forward when they kept doing vague messages last year.

Is it a PBP, or a new troll, or privacy concerns or what? 4,000 posts means a lot of people were trying to help and offer advice. It might not have helped the OP but the advice could have helped another poster going through something similar.

If it had been true surely someone would easily have identified him, the Sunday club or the manager long before now which makes it unlikely to be real
