Pages taking an age to load - anyone else?

Is anyone else finding that some pages are taking an age to load? And a message keeps appearing, something like "page taking ages, do you want to wait?"

It's only happening with mumsnet, no other sites.

Yup. Thought it was my tablet, but it's still happening with a new one!
I have changed my settings so there are less pages per page, but it's still not great.

I tried on a different device too, but same problem. Rather frustrating!

Yes, I gave up trying to load long threads last night.

Same here, Edge, Windows 10, PC.

The message about Wait or Exit is from the browser, as I've had it do it with The Guardian before now.

Taking a long time to load, but when it's loaded, it's still pretty "sticky" - as in scrolling takes ages, clicking through to posts, threads etc. takes ages - the only thing that doesn't is typing!
Very frustrating.

Oh god yes I keep getting error 404/bad gateway message.

Its taking forever to load anything.

Note 10+ on Internet explorer.

Also tried loading on duck duck go and its no quicker

Yes takes absolutely ages to load. Seems worse since the new format was introduced and pages randomly refresh on their own as well.

Yes same here. A couple of threads I clicked on that interested me, I just gave up on in the end, it took so long!

Yes, painfully slow, especially longer threads though to be honest even this one loaded pretty slowly.

Yes, I just had a message come up about DDOS - checking method I'm using or something like that.

Then it just said "The server returned a 405 method not allowed. Please let us now what you were doing when this occurred."

Erm, just waiting for MN to load. 🙁
