Pages taking an age to load - anyone else?

Is anyone else finding that some pages are taking an age to load? And a message keeps appearing, something like "page taking ages, do you want to wait?"

It's only happening with mumsnet, no other sites.

Lots of crashes for me this morning, then couldn’t get on at all. Is this linked to the troll-bot we’ve been seeing this last few days I wonder?

I've had an error 504 & a 500 in the space of 25 minutes this morning. And typing is sliw as hell, & very glitchy, mostly giving up TBH.

Same here. It's almost unusable.

But i'm sure MNHQ will be along soon to ask what devices we're all using and ask for screenshots of the problem. 🙄

Yes, really slow. However Mumsnet has been rubbish for me since it changed, it randomly freezes (normally when I try and scroll past an advert) and I have to wait for it to tell me the page is unresponsive so I can exit. I hardly use it now, it's so annoying. I just thought it was part of that.

yes I have up last night as nothing would load and I kept getting the ‘bad gateway’ message. Thought it was my older phone!

This morning, it's taking a ridiculous time to load, timing out and dumping you in the time it takes to write a six sentence post, and not recognising name changes.

That, together with latest data breach is really not good.

The 'upgrade' should not still be having such a negative impact that the user experience is worse than before nit for this amount of time

It’s been utterly shit lately.

Pages taking ages to load. Bookmarks not working. Constant error messages. Posts not posting.

Sort it out Mumsnet.

For me it's a hit an miss. Sometimes it's quick and sometimes it's slow. On a PC with Windows 10, using Firefox.

The error message when you've had a thread open for a bit, and then go to post - it tells you the page has expired and do you want to refresh? That's bloody irritating.
I've learnt to copy my post (Ctrl A, then Ctrl C for anyone still unfamiliar with laptop shortcuts) before refreshing the page so that I can then Ctrl V it back into the comment box and post it. So frustrating if I forget to do that though!! Especially if it's a long reply...

I've also had issues when I go back to a tab with a MN thread open from the day before or a few hours earlier. I get the Wait or Exit thing and in the end it's quicker to close that tab and start again. I am only getting it on MN, no other website. I'm also finding Ctrl Home doesn't always take me back to the top of the page, as it used to do. It's about 50% of the time now. None of this happened before the move to the new platform.

Android, elderly laptop but updates all done, Chrome browser.

We had an issue with our servers last night - we're still trying to pinpoint what happened exactly. Though we're quite sure that it wasn't anything untoward, so please don't worry.

It should all be resolved now but if you're still experiencing issues with the site, let us know and we'll get it resolved for you.

Yes, I just had a message come up about DDOS - checking method I'm using or something like that.

Then it just said "The server returned a 405 method not allowed. Please let us now what you were doing when this occurred."

Erm, just waiting for MN to load. 🙁
