Format change

Hi, my format has changed where before it was an old style where I could just see the last few threads but now when I click on what I'm on, it's showing me everything.

When I came on mumsnet today, it forced me to login again and then the format has changed. How can I go back to the original? I'm on an android phone.

@Softleftpowerstance you can skip to the last page in the thread by clicking on the last number in the page list - see attached pic in this case I'd just click on 2

This is horrible. Reminds me of websites from years ago.

There is no difference in the colour between my posts and everyone else's now. They used to be purple on the app and just mine were red (apart from the OP). Now everyone is red

I like it! Cleaner and easier to read.

(Just posting for balance, it’s all getting a bit Statler and Waldorf otherwise!)

Not impressed with the new layout. It feels a bit like I'm reading an 'easy reader' book.

@KatyMumsnet I’m on my phone (as I always am) and my posts aren’t highlighted either. Is this a ‘feature’ of the new design? Or do we need to do something to get our posts highlighted again?

Also when you click on threads I’m on, the newest response aren’t highlighted. So you don’t know if someone’s responded to the thread or if it’s a post you’ve already read!
this is making it much harder to read and keep track!

I really, really dislike it. I'm finding it difficult to follow conversation and it hurts my eyes too.

can we change it so that previously read threads are shown in a different colour on Active threads?

Gah. Seriously not liking it. And my phone won't put a return in unless I've used a full stop first. I'm nearly 50, I can police my own grammar and punctuation, thanks. This doesn't happen anywhere else.

My phone is ok but I can't post on my ipad (safari) . It says message but the text bix yo actually input doesn't appear.

Not loving it so far. Particular big black pop ups that don't go away on my android phone

I hate it too. I block all ads and reject all cookies too and this new version is full of gaps, whereas before it made no difference. I suspect this MN's attempt to bump us into using the premium version ...

Where has the search function gone?

Worst change for me is that each comment now has a header (name, timestamp) and footer (action buttons), whereas before all that action was in one clear neat straight line along the top. More separation between comments, more pulling the eye and brain in different directions, much harder to follow the thread of conversation!! No, no, no! Please, no ...

I think someone’s already mentioned this @KatyMumsnet but previously, on the Active threads page (and I assume trending or Talk home page) when you’d clicked on a thread to read it, it de-highlighted it, so you could visibly see which threads you’d already read. This doesn’t seem to be happening with this new design.

If you can't see your own posts highlighted you've probably been logged out so will need to log in again.

I've noticed some of the user names are in grey box when the been @ in a post .

I used to be able to show 100 posts per page, but that seems to have gone - where's that hiding now ? Thanks !
