Format change

Hi, my format has changed where before it was an old style where I could just see the last few threads but now when I click on what I'm on, it's showing me everything.

When I came on mumsnet today, it forced me to login again and then the format has changed. How can I go back to the original? I'm on an android phone.

Haven't read the full thread so apologies if this has already been posted, but PMs are seriously broken. If I select any conversation other than the most recent, the conversation is shown briefly then obscured by a "Sorry, you're not able to access Mumsnet" message (in black on a dark grey background - who thought that was a good idea!). If I dismiss the message, it reappears after a second. Looking at the debug console, it is showing an uncaught DOMException and repeated 403 errors.

I also don't like the fact that we seem to have lost the ability to send multi-paragraph messages. I am often giving advice on school admissions appeals which require longer answers. I used to type in the full answer and review it before sending. I can no longer do that.

Finally on PMs, clicking on "view the message" on the notification email does not open the message. There is no point having the link if it does the same as "view your inbox".

Away from PMs, a couple of times whilst typing posts a message has appeared saying that Mumsnet isn't working. Note that this is while I am typing, NOT on attempting to preview or post. Thankfully, dismissing the message works.

Grrr, found something to moan about! My bookmarks are still there on the app, but they aren't working, in that I can see the bookmark, but it isn't cutting the thread off at that point. Not much point in a bookmark if I have to wade through a wall of posts to find it. Hopefully just a teething problem!

if you ‘read all’ so you can see just the op’s posts, then try to ‘go to post’ for one of their responses it just takes you all the way back to the beginning of the thread!

all the boxes are squashed over to the left and a big blank bit, 1/3 of the screen, on the right on my iPad.

this really will save me wasting loads of time on MN from now on that’s for sure!

I loathe it. So this may stop me using MN. Who is responsible for this stuff?

This new layout is awful!

I’m usually adaptable to change, and have seen a few updates in the 15 years I’ve used mn, but this is truly awful. I’ve got a headache

The new site doesn’t work for text to speech technology very well, so now it essentially isn’t accessible for those with a visual impairment, MN ableism at its best.

The font is also not very clear at all.

This pop-up appears when I try to bookmark. Also, some posts only have a bookmark symbol and others have the word bookmark, too.

I haven't RTFT so apologies if I've missed it but have MNHQ said anything about this change anywhere?

Also, your 'Talk guidelines' and 'Getting started' links are broken - they take you to another copy of the thread you're on.

I don’t understand why different topics have different views.

Active Threads, Style and Beauty, Threads I’m on are all different and it’s very confusing.

In my I'm Watching list I've got random threads from last year that I certainly wasn't watching now, whether I was then I can't remember. Why have they been added?

I'm sorry MN, I don't like it either. It's hurting my head. My eyesight is bad even with glasses and this is really not working for me - the font is less clear, squished up then lots of white space to scroll through - I think the contrasts of that don't help. I liked the clear layout before. Not good.

MNHQ - why the annoying gap between posts!!! It’s just dead space

I agree with too much whiteness. I thought there was some kind of error when it came up like this today. It just doesn't flow like it used to.

Flipping awful and keeps crashing with Error 500
