Seasons greetings one and all

We're happy to announce our new Talk App for Android is now ready to go and available for download from the Google Play store, just in time for Christmas too.

As this is our first crack at the Android version, we will be adding more features and updates as we go along. At this stage we'd really appreciate your feedback (good and bad...) about using the app and if it's working for you. Let us know how you get on.

Many thanks to all of our testers. Please delete the test app and download this one instead.

Bernard, I got round that by logging out on the mobile site and then doing the 'forgot my password' thing to get a link to reset. Thrn logged onto the app

Nope, still can't log in.

It won't let me log in. I've changed my password,logged out of mobile site. But nope, keeps saying it's wrong.

I can't find a preview option.
is there one? Are there any plans for it?
Sorry, I haven't read the thread. Well, don't care.

It's OK but very annoying having to scroll through a whole thread to get to where you were, hundreds of posts is a lot of scrolling.

Also no option to refresh thread so you have to go out and back in.

A go to top/bottom button would be useful

Other than that I quite like it.

threads I'm on is a bit iffy. won't keep a thread hidden and when I click on a thread it gives me the wrong one? but will use it for browsing I think especially as it uses less data than chrome

I quite like it but would've prefered a preview of whatever is written after my posts on "threads I'm on".

Is there a way to change the OP's background colour?

Like it, it nice and clean and easy to use. However, there is too much space around the text IMO.

Strange scrolling behaviour with ads, flickering like mad,(nougat), until I root and install adblock the app is a no for me. Good effort though.

Don't like the purple.
Easy to reply to posts though, and I'm not forced to hunt for how to logout, although I presume it keeps me logged in until I do log out.

I could only see half of the login button on the login page, and it wouldn't scroll up.

I've given up on it just now, I haven't got any text, just a block of purple and a block of white.

Still won't let me log in. My password is definitely correct.
