Hi all,

As you know we have launched the new mobile site, we know it's a big change and we are still very keen to get it right with your help. This is very much a version that will evolve with your help as part of the testing process.

There have been a few glitches that have/are being ironed out and the HUGE thread has nearly maxed out, so we thought it best to start a shiny new one.

We know change is tricky but, as with most things MN, we are all ears and happy to look at any feedback you have on ways we can improve the new site.

Could we please have thicker lines between threads/posts. Would help a lot.

Maybe 1 colour for threads, one on threads for posts ?

Could we have choice of colour for highlighting posts ?

Don't suppose there is a chance of a different background colour choice for people ?

Ads are very annoying but I reckon they are staying. Unfortunately.

Thank you for adding the "hide thread" option however it isn't working. I press hide thread, it "loads" but doesn't tell me it's hid, I go back on my TIO and the thread I had pressed to hide is still there.

Anyone else with this problem?

Change the colour of the bottom toolbar too. It's too pale.

I'm a total broken record but PLEASE give us back the option to hide the social share buttons, please!

Also, on my customise page why is there an uncheckable option to show the special needs topic?

Oh and thanks for ironing out lots of the glitches so far...But, yeah, social share buttons NEED to go!

Hi all. Thanks for all your comments and feedback. We have already made some of the changes and fixes you've mentioned and are busy with lots more, including making Active easier to read through and the previews on TIO etc. Please do continue to let us know of any problems you find. Thanks

Asked many times, by many posters, on old thread but maybe it'll get seen if I post now: CAN WE HAVE OPTION TO USE OLD MOBILE SITE INSTEAD, PLEASE?

This is actually improving a bit from the all time low that was 8am, and bits of it (dropdown emoticon menu) are pretty good, but the old site was miles better and a lot faster.

Am still interested to know - given the overwhelmingly negative response - what you were aiming for with the redesign?

And (I really need a life ) the top bit with the arrow circle thing and >topics etc needs a rethink. It displeases me.

I think I have found my way around most things but how do we flip the threads now?

Thanks. What about sorting out 'threads I'm on' so we get the last few posts on each thread back and also make the board (eg chat, aibu) clickable again?

Basically shamtech we want the old site with the new emoticon system

She who dares that's there in customise. You can pick how many posts to a page and choose 1000.

Ah found it, in the same menu as customise. It wasnt there earlier or I was not looking properly

PLEASE answer the many posters who have asked whether we can have the option of using the old site. It was perfect for what I suspect is the vast majority of mumsnet mobile users (apologies if I'm speaking on your behalf and you disagree with me!).

I just don't see how, by changing a few glitches, you can make this version better than the old one.

Are you able to answer the question (asked many times on the previous thread) as to why this was forced on us to begin with?

Still too glarey for us migraine folk. A few mins on here and I have to stop. Please, please, pleeeeeeaase sort that.

Also that advert - after you've killed and burned it can you encase it in concrete and throw it in a very deep lake.

I can't load any long threads . There's long threads I need to catch up on/post on and can't. It's sooo frustrating. I can't get to the bottom and then it just freezes.

I'm missing all the fun. mine is the same as its always been
