Particularly sick bearing in mind current events on the children with cancer thread. This really upset me.

It was deeply shocking.

I think we should thank whoever was astute and sensitive enough to report it, which must be why it was dealt with so quickly.

We'll probably never know who it was. There were a lot of very long-standing posters appearing to take it at face value.

Someone did say it wasn't SP's usual style, but you wouldn't expect someone to be quite themselves in those circumstances would you?

And she name changes so often as long as the "SP" was there most people wouldn't look that closely.

Rowan, there was a bit of speculation on that thread as to who the PBP is. Can you just confirm the speculators were wrong please?

Not sure which speculation you mean, but we'd be really surprised if any of you had even registered this poster's previous incarnations/names - they tended to get zapped pretty quickly. Certainly (to reiterate) we have no reason to associate this particular troll with any infamous/well-known PBP.
