Having rofled our way through your Bradley-Wiggins-inspired poetry thread, we thought we'd start the Official Mumsnet Olympics Haiku Thread.

Please do come and post your best haikus about the Games, as and when inspiration strikes.

We may well have a prize or two for the best offerings....

Alas, the logo
Looks like Lisa Simpson is
Giving a blow-job.

Flaming Olympics
Costing gold, silver and bronze
Roll on September

I can't do these... But I just thought I'd pony out YABU by only offering a top prize. It's Olympic themed. Surely you need a silver and bronze prize too?
