Does anyone know when will the result of SET that took place on 17th Sep 2024 will be out ? Roughly how many students are called back for the second stage test ?

As some of the DS's classfellows didn't make it they have received result in their emails.
For Eilson. Sutton and Wallington schools the cut off marks were 212.
For Greenshaw school it is 198.
Don't know about the girls' schools.

Has anyone used Atom as we did a free trial, is it a useful benchmark?

Congratulations again. Nice to know your daughter cleared.

My son has been using Atom. It's useful to identify areas of improvement by topics. and kids are able to choose and practice based on their well sorted topic list with feedback. It is easy on me because I don't need to correct answer sheets and I get insights quickly. It has mocks as well, but I am unsure if it reflects the real difficulty level for super selective schools. Hope this helps.

This year the cut off for the girls" schools is 205.

Is this for the first stage only?

Yes, all applicants scoring above than 205 have been invited for the 2nd stage test which is on 5th Oct

I wonder if one of the papers was difficult this year, as both boys and girls' pass mark is quite a fair bit lower than previous years.

For the ones who have qualified for Second stage, have you received any further comms from either Wallington/NonSuch. The exam is on Saturday and it seems the details for second stage has still not been sent. At least , we haven't received any email other than the initial email which says you have qualified for second stage.
