@NellyCortado we have just heard from KCS. Unfortunately for us, it is WL. A bit disappointing but still trying to stay positive. Hope you have good news!

To the other mums, can I check what should I do with a WL? I know everyone has said to email/call admissions and show our interest but the email received also says to let them know by completing a form which will be emailed to us separately. Should I still email admissions? Can I just ask outright where DS stands on the waiting list? Not sure how to phrase it. Many thanks in advance for any help!

Hi all, congratulations to all a big big well done!!!
My dd got no offers and 2 WL so that’s us done. My DD is going to be heart broken and still don’t know how to tell her even one offer would have eased the pain. I’m not sure what it was at interview stage that they felt she just was not a right fit. I’ve tried to call admin for FHSS but no answer. I’m really not hopeful that she will get a WL place as there are so many on WL also.

Honestly,after this year, I am so relieved I don't have to do it again next year.
I am sure I will pop in to support those going through the process though.

@Sass22 I'm so sorry. It is such a painful experience and sending very best wishes to you and DD. No doubt it is hard to see the positives in having the WL places at the moment, but keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you.

I am at the end of my tether waiting for LU as it’s DD’s preferred option and I’m not sure who else is left apart from them.

has anyone got an offer from WHS and thinks they might turn it down? We have a top third waitlist offer and wondering how realistic it is that it will materialise. DD has done well and has offers to Emanuel, Jags and epsom but I would love Wimbledon!

KCS is WL for us, too! Curious about the answers to your questions as I want to let them know but not be too pushy at the same time. Hope other parents can shed a light.

I know quite a few who want either GHS or Grammar.

I think there will be a lot of movement this year, but might be a few weeks away depending on how much they over offered.

@Pigeon25 We might. We have been so blessed with offers today we will have to release offers. The offer holders seems to be between 21/23 Feb for most schools so we will have a better idea at that point.

@Sass22 please do not be disheartened, wait lists do move and there is still hope. Sending lots of good luck wishes your way

very sorry for those who have had rejections or waitlist. It is a brutal process and the way we had prepared ourselves was that it was all down to the final bit of luck, not ability.

@new13 I felt the same about our waitlist at LEH but would definitely recommend calling them. In my case they were super supportive, gave me a rough idea of where we sat. I think they are keen for people to be in touch to get a sense of how their lists will move. I explained the offer we were holding and they were keen to know that for dates.

We are in a similar place to Lolakath19 (different school sets, though). We will reject some offers already on Monday, attend offer holders days for our top schools (need to decide which ones with DD but WHS likely to be in that group) on w/c 20th Feb and aim to release the rest as soon as possible after that.
We are very aware that we are coming out of this process with lots of options and want to ensure that any offers that we decide not to take are quickly passed onto others.
