Got an offer from Hampton, they seem to be slowly trickling through as I saw the first one here was 8.15am, so been super nervous since then, but very pleased.

It was first choice so DS will be super pleased, a few others waiting for.

Congrats! I still don't have an email, I saw it on the portal. Thankfully my DH had email so it must be real!

We're still waiting on Hampton, but we're also 13+ so just telling myself they'll send those last.

I'd also like to echo some of those comments of support for those parents who haven't got the news they wanted today - in my experience of going through this previously, wait list spots do emerge and you'd never know once the child is there.

Also, there is movement (I know someone who has a child in Y7 at Emmanuel and 3 pupils have left that class already due to moving abroad) and Y9 is another natural entry point.

@VickiMent well done - yes the Portal updated after the email so must be in sync. Thanks

@GQ22 email came in, then I checked the portal and could see updated status, it came in at 10.26am, so they seem to be working through it as opposed to some bulk update/email. It is difficult, I been refreshing and checking emails and portal both since 8.15 lol

Still no email for me. To be honest I am fairly relaxed today but the three or so hours between someone saying Epsom emails were out and us getting it was probably the most stressed I have ever been in my life!

@GQ22 are you also waiting for Hampton 13+ Pre-Test? So are we! Trying to look on the bright side of things although getting a bit stressed out! I am refreshing both email and portal!

Commiserations to those with WLs and Nos but as everyone has said, all the kids will find somewhere they are happy with.

I'm not sure if Hampton has posted as well, but the post woman's van is parked opposite our house so I know she's nearby. Almost tempted to go looking for her.

No, you’re lucky to earn / inherit enough to PAY for your kids’ educational. Please don’t delude yourselves. Nearly all parents are ‘engaged’ and ‘care so much about their education’. Many prefer the state system for being more egalitarian and less elitist, and for producing more well-rounded people. Others simply can’t afford it. It’s just another manifestation of our unequal society.

HUGE congratulations for the offers and good vibes for all WL! It's been a busy morning - so happy for everyone whose DC got their choices. Commiserating with those who did not, but I am certain things will work out one way or another. There will be offers who will be released - I am positive!

Big Congratulations to everyone on the offers! I have been catching up on all the updates just now! What a morning it has been! I have been up since 5:50am with anticipation and anxious to know the results! My dd is at school so she does not know yet!!!

And my heart goes out to all the parents who dc were waitlisted or did not get the offer they wanted. Things will work. As pp mentioned the WLs will move. And things will work out for the best.

We got a WL for KGS, but Hampton first choice so all good.
