I think the pressers later are giving details about how the vaccinations will work after the JCVI formally extended the programme yesterday. Everyone 40+ could already book via the portal, but there'll need to be something in place for younger people, and they'll need to arrange it so that boosters go to the vulnerable first as capacity is more limited now. No point in boosting 18 year olds (with fresher immunity) who weren't at risk anyway, while there are still vulnerable people with waning immunity not boosted, as it's the latter group who are overwhelmingly more likely to end up in hospital/to die.

Are you able to switch flights to England if required? I know it's extra hassle but given Boris has already said no to her travel extension quarantine ban then he is unlikely to change that unless very very forced!
