Thought a wee separate thread would be handy to keep us all going and for the kick up the bums we need, tips and motivation

Not going too badly this week, 2 pieces of fruit down the hatch already today! Managed to limit buying treat food in supermarket shop - always a fan of small victories!

WouldBeGood · 07/06/2022 14:11

Stay strong @WhatWouldTheDoctorDo ! You’ve done so well.

and that’s great @runningpink on determination 💪

And you @mapleleavesreturn

we are nailing this!

im much better, tracking and exercising: probably focussing more on fitness than weight loss, though could definitely stand to lose a good bit yet. Happier now up do it slowly and keep at it for the long term.

TeeNoG · 07/06/2022 15:03

Glad to hear you're feeling happier @WouldBeGood - slow and steady wins the race.

I also have 4 weeks until holiday! Im just hoping to keep this malarkey up until then and maybe see another 2/3 lbs fall off 😆. This year I've lost 8lbs - and 5lbs of those have been in the 5 weeks I've been calorie counting!

WouldBeGood · 07/06/2022 16:59

The calorie counting really does work, doesn’t it?!

TeeNoG · 07/06/2022 18:46

I hate to say it, but it really does!

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 07/06/2022 18:50

Welcome to the holiday bus @TeeNoG

Sounds like everyone is doing brilliantly. I've just completed a bodycombat workout and we're having a healthy salmon with pak Choi dinner so on track for day 1 of the holiday countdown.

I have an unavoidable team lunch tomorrow though and I'm a bit 😭 at the menu - it's ridiculously calorific with no real healthy options. I'm praying for a specials menu. Annoyingly it's sister menu has loads of good options.

But, keeping the eye on the prize. Here's to a successful June everyone!

WouldBeGood · 07/06/2022 20:36

We had salmon too @WhatWouldTheDoctorDo and interestingly I’d run out of noodles so we had one nest between us, and it was actually plenty, impressive as DS is a hungry teen. Think I’ll just make that in the future. Also bought skinless salmon fillets by mistake, and they were fine.

Tomorrow night is big juicy burgers for my boy’s birthday though 😃

runningpink · 07/06/2022 21:24

Oooh I do love a burger! Happy Birthday to mini @WouldBeGood for tomorrow

I ended up not weighing/tracking tea this evening but it was healthy. Also had chocolate today! Oops!

But 19k steps
1 hour fitness class
2mile run. It was too hot so didn’t go as far as intended
1.5 mile walk home
