I think the problem is the police basically didn't police. Why are they letting this shit happen? Businesses have been ranked because of restrictions but this sort of bullshit is ok? The videos on social media today are absolutely vile. Will be a small amount no doubt but police bloody escorted them. I hate what this country is becoming

Those saying the club should be sanctioned - why?

They put out messages through the week telling fans to stay safe and announcements today asking the crowd at Ibrox to disperse. There is nothing else in the clubs power they could have done.

Why the fuck would you punish Rangers because the police are incapable of doing their job?

Don't you mean the fans? How is it the fault of the police? 🤔

Yes, the police gave them an escort both times they marched to George Square. I dont know who is to blame,the SG, the fans,the club or the police. But if you haven't had your mum or best mate round your house in months or attended a funeral alone or changed your wedding umpteen times, you must now be thinking WTF.
And if it had been Celtic fans doing this I'd say exactly the same thing.

I think both the club and the police can shoulder some blame but the fans are grown men and women who should know better. The fault lies mostly with them.

Enforce these restrictions or don't collect any bloody wages. This has been planned for weeks, ScotGov and police knew it was coming but they did nothing. They let these fannies trash the city and you want to make excuses for them?

I can imagine the clean up has gone on all night. It'll stink too. My ds works just off George Square he said it was mental and they had to shut early. Can you imagine this happening anywhere else?

Pp are absolutely right if we had won 10 in a row the city would have been green and white today. Some posters would genuinely shit in their hands and clap before admitting ScotGov and Police Scotland knew about this prior to there event and decided not to act.

It fuels the sectarianism by saying it's only because it's rangers. They would have let Celtic go ahead as well

I agree 100% with this.......it was going to happen whether it was blue or green and anyone who disagrees with this has their head in the sand.

Nah, they would've let them shite on their own doorstep. Better to let them show their superiority by going a long march and taking over the centre of town. I heard the police advised celtic pubs to board up their premises as they knew they'd get trashed.

Totally agree. This hasn't happened before and Celtic has been winning a lot over the years. I dont think this would have happened to the same extent if Celtic had won 10 in a row. Sure, they would all be going crazy and parties etc would have happened. But when did you last see celtic fans march in their thousands from parkhead to George Square?? And then trash the place and start fighting with each other? Even when it wasnt a pandemic???

Even on here, the poster above who immediately wrote 'name changed for this,' and then poster some bigoted nonsense, even here there's probably normal posters who cant hide their bigotry if they get the chance, even if they have to name change to do so, which is frankly pathetic.
