From friday 16 april we can travel anywhere in scotland for socialising outdoors.

Up to 6 adults from 6 households.

From 16th April we are released from council areas and 6 adults from 6 household!!!

Would that include travel for shipping? (Can I finally get to IKEA?!)

As summer progresses we hope to see a return to greater normality than level zero. I think she’s worked out people were not happy

Promising stuff but my household already has 5 members all 12+ so we cannot realistically have another family over. Mind you if I can 'not count' the ones who'll happily stay indoors perhaps it's possible.

😂 I think they realised that the last set of tables and tier 0 wouldn't have actually been achieved!

Moving towards Zero actually meaning suppression via vaccines and therapeutics. Not even so much emphasis on t&t.

The language today looks to be in line with that.

In Devi's defence it is a reasonable interpretation that this was what she meant as the long term goal all along. It was just that the available tools were missing and Govt preferred the blunt instrument of Lockdown to more nuanced policy.

Great improvement here as in theory I can now go down the beach, or visit my DM or my DD1 at will - car sick 9 year old and bladder permitting.

Also makes a difference to my student DDs who have been very restricted by the HH limits rather than the Rule of 6.
