Looks like railing is still needed.

Here is the judgment feee zone to do it.

Definitely still railing and now rebelling

Coquohvan · 24/02/2021 13:03

Thanks @Would defo needed.

anon444877 · 24/02/2021 13:16

still railing. I'm sure I'll be able to see the bright side by 2025!

Nipoleonthenoncommital · 24/02/2021 13:25

I am here. Also fed up and in need of a rail. Poster on previous thread but have name changed.

NearWildHeaven · 24/02/2021 13:39

Fees?!

Don't give the SG ideas 🤣

littlbrowndog · 24/02/2021 13:39

Rebelling

OldRailer · 24/02/2021 14:04

Going my own way. With an occasional rail.

anon444877 · 24/02/2021 14:14

I've made an absolute howler of a mistake at work - I've spent two days trying to figure this out and I've mistyped a V as a Y somewhere important.

Of course this was done whilst homeschooling but not caught the last two days.

So ashamed.

Dinnafashyersel · 24/02/2021 14:14

*I was discussing the SG response irl and a wise person pointed out they will have to loosen their position as the vaccine effects kick in. (It would certainly be rational. Plus a boost for their May election chances.)

Approaching zero covid just won't be a sustainable approach, so as politicians they'll ditch it. It cheered me up slightly anyway.*

Copied from end of last thread. I agree. In this context the refusal to go beyond April looks more sensible as it gives more flexibility to adjust to data. In contrast Boris already looking defensive on his forward plan and Starmer looking backward at the model rather than forward at the actual data.

Bit of Home Ed railing. I am NEVER becoming a primary teacher. I love fractions, decimals, percentages, angles and algebra. I can even build and stress test models and produce endless graphs and tables and critique to match. However marking 4 pages of telling the time sums for DD3 has completely addled my brain for the rest of the day.

anon444877 · 24/02/2021 14:14

And then reported it as a high priority bug. Arghhh

WouldBeGood · 24/02/2021 14:15

I’m pleased to see the press today nearly all unhappy on their front pages.

It doesn’t seem to have gone down well. Hopefully, listening to public pressure along with the vaccines and the impending election might focus their minds.

Oh no, @anon444877 ! That’s most annoying, I hate a work mistake. Happens to everyone 💐

I am always surprised that politicians misjudge the mood of the country so badly. Do they not realise how much we are struggling? It’s like John Swinneys plans for a year of blended was announced breezily last summer - and dropped very quickly when its was realised that they had just lobbed a hand grenade. Get your head out of your arse and speak to your electorate fgs. Read the room.

Dinnafashyersel · 24/02/2021 14:25

Anon happens to us all. That's why we usually have a 2nd pair of eyes and a review process - just one of the many things conveniently forgotten in current circs.

DH spends half of most days debugging or "amending features" as he calls it.

AgentCooper · 24/02/2021 14:28

Checking in. Railing exhaustedly.

I’m a member of a private gym group with outdoor pools. The main organisation Facebook page is posting ideas on how to open the outdoor pools when outdoor sports are allowed in England, so next month. Meanwhile in Scotland, fuck all. Everyone I know is just fucking knackered and angry now.

Absolutely. But remember that time they spoke to 20 members of the electorate, a whole 20? That’s their arses covered 🤦🏻‍♀️
Elsia · 24/02/2021 14:31

David Lloyd by any chance? I miss it so much. I mean honestly the most I’ve done there in a while is drink hot chocolate in the cafe with my pal while the kids do classes but still...

MaxNormal · 24/02/2021 14:44

More wailing than railing today.

Dinnafashyersel · 24/02/2021 15:16

Railers in chief David Blunkett and Charles Walker. It's not just us.

@Elsia yup! I had such an awful summer mental health wise. When I joined up at the gym it was absolutely magic. I only ever went to the outdoor pool but I felt alive, I had an appetite again. I actually felt happier than before lockdown! I miss it like mad. Cannot look at Nicola Sturgeon right now.
WouldBeGood · 24/02/2021 15:40

I can’t believe I agree with David Blunkett and a Tory MP but I do!

They make sense and sound normal, not 5G stuff

Dinnafashyersel · 24/02/2021 16:03

I was doubtful about posting as I didn't want to be derailing the railing and right to moan. I decided to in the end because they fair improved my humour. Glad they had the same effect on you WouldbeGood. Brew

anon444877 · 24/02/2021 16:12

I wish it was the first awful typos I'd made this year! I'm going to show some resilience and keep bodging on.

anon444877 · 24/02/2021 16:14

'a different solution could have been found, with a greater emphasis on personal agency' YES.
