They treat each wee child as the individual they are, they remember their likes and dislikes, they’re not fazed by the wee firecrackers (like my son). And they have been so kind to me too. I may have mentioned that I cried down the phone to my son’s keyworker 🤦🏻‍♀️ because I just didn’t see it working, he’s so highly strung and nervous. And they’re working miracles. They honestly deserve to be paid ten times what they earn.

The children are the only ones who can give me cuddles so I treasure them right now.

My friend recorded an outdoors nativity. Checked numerous times with her head about singing. Then went back with the guidance from me about singing. Told it was fine. Edited the video... only to be told, no we can't send that out, we're not allowed to sing. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@snowcoveredcampsies we're not drunk but we don't socially distance as you don't need to in early years. Staff do or wear masks if needs to be in close contact.

And I should say thank you to everyone on here who listened to me going on about how anxious I was, especially @Groovee for very patiently giving advice when things were so tough for her.

My DD's nursery is very law abiding but they had Christmas songs outside at Christmas and apparently will not stop children from singing indoors if it begins 'organically'. They've also remained very hands on, which is very reassuring.

Yes to the nursery teacher adoration. I cannot believe how my wee one is treated at nursery and just how much stuff they do!

They do not get paid anywhere near enough.

Just general Shute about yesterday. A journalist drew his attention to Gerard asking fans not to celebrate after he really went in on the club and he just waffled shite. Also the testing in schools is horrid mine are young but I wouldn't be putting him through that. Journalist from the sun highlighted how s1-s3 only getting a morning a week and he just spoke shit. I just cannot stand the man

That's great it went so well. Mine was the same -I just had to pass him over at the gate due to Covid and it was hellish at first but he absolutely loves it now. They definitely deserve to be paid a lot more.

He said they have been counting the numbers wrongly in Glasgow !! Now they are going to include the tests from the lighthouse labs..

I dont understand what impact this will have or how we can have been counting wrong for a whole year!!

Only the Scottish government could come up with this. Positives is if we are coming out of lockdown soon no more daily briefings.
