Looks like railing is still needed.

Here is the judgment feee zone to do it.

@Jellycatspyjamas

Just popping in - got my vaccine appointment through today, which surprised me, I thought I’d be much further down the list.
Fab news @Jellycatspyjamas There's a few people on here been getting appointments this week. They're doing people with medical conditions which make them clinically vulnerable at moment.
StatisticallyChallenged · 24/02/2021 19:07

@WaxOnFeckOff

I don't know how you are managing to keep civil *@StatisticallyChallenged*, I've given up.
I have a two year old...
WaxOnFeckOff · 24/02/2021 19:11

I think a 2 year old is more rational and makes more sense. Mine used to bang his head on the pavement and that was still a better, cleaner argument.

StatisticallyChallenged · 24/02/2021 19:17

🤣🤣🤣

I'm just fucking tired of the revisionist lies. Freeman got her arse handed to her recently for it. I know every politician does it but it doesn't mean I can't dislike it.

And I'm realistic. Shit changes. But if your position has changed because circumstances have changed then ok, own it. But let's face it they were looking for another go long before brexit. Which, for clarity, is also a steaming turd

Sootess · 24/02/2021 19:20

@jabbathebutt
I feel your DDs pain with lockdown learning! It's really hard for teenagers at the moment, don't be too hard on herThanks

WouldBeGood · 24/02/2021 19:24

Yep. I’m disgusted with all politicians just now. But sad that Scotland is now in the news for the sleaze.

I’ve tried to be positive today and have been on my treadmill, done my roots and collected some bits from Dunelm for my newly cleared house. I’m tired though after all this stress- age showing!

The SNP were never going to respect the result of the Scottish Referendum.
Brexit was just a gift to them to hang their Independence hat on.

They also conveniently forgot that they are supposed to represent the whole of Scotland and not just the party faithful.

Coquohvan · 24/02/2021 19:27

@StatisticallyChallenged

Coming over here to scream and rail.

I'm sick fed up of the whole fucking lot of it. Lies, obfuscstion, shifting goalposts, misuse of stats, corruption. Just aaargh

@Stats From what Ive read off your posts you are an intelligent knowledgable person, if others can’t or don’t want to understand them, then they are - stooopid!
StatisticallyChallenged · 24/02/2021 19:38

Thanks guys. I'm actually laughing, the only thing I'm annoyed at is myself cos I managed to sew in a sleeve upside down Confused. What a twit, that'll teach me to mumsnet and sew!

WaxOnFeckOff · 24/02/2021 19:43

I'm happy to worship at your alter @Stats - sewing and making sense on here at the same time - and having a 2 year old...

See that the salmond/sturgeon thing has actually been reported on the BBC national news. Sarah Smith looked like she was "enjoying" reporting it... :o

anon444877 · 24/02/2021 19:50

frankly I'm hoping against hope for a material change in the number of people falling for the idea that putting up barriers with your biggest trading partner and othering them is a good idea.

WaxOnFeckOff · 24/02/2021 19:53

honestly there is a very small margin in the middle that could be persuaded. For me it's about making sure that that group get the info they need in order to vote for anyone else except the SNP. Most of the voters are entrenched and don't care if it's the right the right thing to do for the country.

littlbrowndog · 24/02/2021 19:56

This is epic railing yet sad

WouldBeGood · 24/02/2021 20:02

@littlbrowndog yes... I feel better that other people also think it’s shite.

OP posts:
littlbrowndog · 24/02/2021 20:07

There’s loads. Of people

Everyone I spoke to were dismayed and depressed at the message she sent out yesterday

My family what’s app was like what did we just hear

TIER 3 again

And some are NHS. Workers

OldRailer · 24/02/2021 20:09

littlebrowndog I appreciated " the daily doomcast" thanks for posting that.

WaxOnFeckOff · 24/02/2021 20:09

My NHS worker thinks it's shite also.

WouldBeGood · 24/02/2021 20:12

Yes, my two colleagues at work yesterday a doctor and a nurse both thought things were a massive overreaction even before the doomcast, and saying what’s the point of the highly effective vaccines?

OP posts:
anon444877 · 24/02/2021 20:13

all the 'it's just the same as England except better because no dates' stuff makes me laugh - that'll be the England saying international travel from 17 May will it? Just the same then. The England allowing self-catering from 12 April so families can have an Easter holiday somewhere other than their local park.

WaxOnFeckOff · 24/02/2021 20:14

Looking at the stats, our death figures seem to be dropping at a slower rate than rUK - is that a result of the slower start with vaccines or another reason?

StatisticallyChallenged · 24/02/2021 20:19

Could be Waxon, could be we were starting from a lower point (bit like losing weight, the fatter you are the easier the first pounds come off. \apparently), could be that we're lagging because of the slower jags. I haven't compared.

AgentCooper · 24/02/2021 20:20

I had a short on Teams with a colleague who is just furious about the way things are now. He lives alone, teaching online to students all over the world who are dealing with shitty internet and major time differences. It was a fucking relief to sound off to someone who felt similarly to me, I tell you.

IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 24/02/2021 20:27

@StatisticallyChallenged wow they are really coming for you. I admire your staying power. This is why I hate the Indyref stuff it creates so much division.

On our restrictions she 100% knows she got it wrong yesterday it's so unusual for the press to come for her like that I think. The Salmond stuff today she was rattled. She actively used a COVID briefing to try and discredit him, that's dangerous territory. Her faux apology at the end meant hee haw.

I had initially said I wasn't sure if now was the best time for a change in leadership but now I hope this enquiry proves her guilt. Our tiny wee country is now the face of political corruption and I hate it.

littlbrowndog · 24/02/2021 20:31

Not a road map

All we got was a pot holed drive straight into a brick wall

littlbrowndog · 24/02/2021 20:33

Agree isurvive

Pure cheek and such a crap thing to do as our FM to use a Covid briefing to slag off salmond
