please help my husband left today

11th August would have been our Silver wedding anniversary.

We have 5 children.

I was at work. My 11 year old rang me in floods of tears. He had taken the two youngest to nursery, left a note saying he would always love them, and just went. Left a note for me saying he's been seeing someone else for two years.

I have nobody in RL, I only had him. The younger children just keep asking for daddy, the older ones are in bits. I would have laid down my life for him. Please help me. I don't think I can cope with this. His phone is off. I don't have a clue where he is.

I have no useful words. I read this with a stupid look on my face as I couldn't believe someone could be so cruel so finding it hard to make sense. didn't want to read and run though

sorry no practical help either. would any of his family be able to get in touch with him?

told his dad - his mother died some years ago and his sister lives in California- I have no family or anyone

gosh, did you have any idea? Was this the first you knew about him wanting to leave?

seems like a very immature thing to do with five children to look after and then doesn't answer his phone.

Im so sorry I'm not really sure what to say but dont want you to feel alone. I cant believe someone would do that to the person they have been with for so long its cruel and selfish. I will try to check back later I have to see to my DD just now. Im thinking of you x

How did he possibly have the time to see someone else for 2years without anyone noticing, when you read the note did things click into place?

Something similar happened to me only 6 weeks ago and so I understand the pain you are feeling.I however had some very good friends who have helped me through this,despite my not wanting to ask for help in any way,shape or form.

Do you really have NOBODY? Neighbours? Mothers of other kids at school?

I really feel for you and nothing I can say will make it better.Is till feel sick daily and worried for the future but have had to keep strong for my DD.

No. I really didn't have a clue.

He used to go out once, sometimes twice a week to play snooker with workmates and I had no reason to suspect that wasn't where he was.

OP, if it happened to me, I'm not sure I'd have anyone to turn to either, and sometimes you just want to talk to strangers too.

I can't begin to imagine what a shock it must be.

He has taken two weeks off work.

We only moved here recently and there is nobody I know.

Oh gosh, how far away is the old place? Can someone come to visit for the weekend?

Are you older children old enough to look after your younger ones while you go out to look for him, I don't think I'd be able to rest without finding him tbh

do you have any phone numbers for friends in your old area? perhaps they could come to you for a few days?

get across to the my husband left me on sunday thread - we've got a lovely little support network going on there - you'll be amazed how many twunts are out there this past couple months!!! Let us help x
