My AirPods are where I thought they were. My husband isn’t!!

I’ve been reading mumsnet for years but not made an account until now. I can’t talk to anyone in RL and really need some advice please
My DH is on a golfing trip with a work friend in Portugal. I though I would do some housework today and was looking for my AirPods. I couldn’t find them so mentioned to DS that I didn’t want to spend time looking in case I’d left them at work.
He suggested I look on find my iPhone as that would show them. I’ve never used it before but once I reset the Apple ID I got in and saw they were in the house. ( I searched the kitchen and found them behind the pot I drop my keys and stuff in. )
I noticed that this app showed my husbands phone so clicked on it just for a nose
He’s not in Portugal. He’s in Spain!!!!!
Why the fuck would he lie about what country he he’s in unless there is something seriously dodgy going on. I watched him go from a hotel to a
Restaurant, then along the seafront, then back to the same hotel. It can’t be wrong. I can’t sleep. Is he with another woman?

I think it’s also a good idea to wait at the airport… you will be able to see who he arrives with from a distance.

If you can’t do it, would a friend? I’d do it for a friend if needed.

Or go with a friend for moral support. I’d be too nervous to go on my own but a friend with me would give me courage.

I would call the friends landline asking for Mr whoever and pretend to be some random call like ‘calling from British Gas’ or something and then if he comes to the phone I’d hang up

I wouldn't care if I didn't know the other mans wife. I would still message. Even if just to ask for flight details as you have misplaced the times he left 🙈

Yes exactly. Doesn't have to be a personal message, just to ask if she has details/ can check if both husbands are doing okay as can't get an answer etc

A friend once changed the name on her partner's (now ex) tickets when he did the dirty on her, so he was stranded with tickets in the wrong name. No, I'm not convinced it was true either but it made a good story

The find my iPhone tracker wouldn't move along fuengirola to and from restaurants and bars and then the hotel that OP has matched up with a picture he sent.

In some ways it's easier to contact other man's wife if you don't know her.

If he is cheating OP, then he is going to lie and lie and lie. You will never get the truth, save for what he thinks he can get away with or what you can find out for yourself. If you do want to know either way, then you probably do need to be at the airport incognito to see who he arrives with.

OP has latest siting as Fuengirola, there are numerous golf courses in that area. IF, and IF, golf break was booked, and weather too bad to play feasible that resort moved him to sister resort on Costa Del Sol to play. But it does. It explain the lying about where he is,

You could look at the hotel you think he might be in on Instagram and see if anyone has recently tagged it or set it as a location on their photos, to see if he is in the background. Long shot but it might be worth a try OP.

Agree with *@Hope90x* there is no point giving him a headsup and 24 hours to construct a plausible explanation of why he was in Spain not Portugal.

You know two things op. When you confront him face to face with the first, ie, that he was in Spain, he won't know at that point that you also know his friend was at home taking a picture of his wife and DC for mother's day.

She doesn’t know that the friend took the photo though.
