Are all men this gross

Ughhhh I've just found out that my partner pees in the garden because he can't be bothered to go upstairs to the bathroom. It's most nights I think although he denied it then admitted it then denied it. .
I actually feel sick and hate the fact he lies about it too.
I hate lying and I hate the thought that he thinks this is ok 🤮

My dp picks his nose and pulls nose hair out and flicks it in the living room. I've asked him not to. He doesn't see the issue. Not all men buy lots of men I know are gross

ElizabethinherGermanGarden · 26/09/2021 12:08

That's grim. However, make urine is very good for compost, so you could potentially put his grimness to good use if he is otherwise a good man and you're not repulsed in other ways.

ElizabethinherGermanGarden · 26/09/2021 12:09

Male urine, that should say (it's a hormone thing). It would be no use if you wee on the compost yourself.

Blankspace4 · 26/09/2021 12:09

That is rank, I’m sorry.

Mumoblue · 26/09/2021 12:10

I swear every thread about people’s partners on MN puts me one step closer to being single for life. Confused

That’s so gross.

BeenAsFarAsMercyAndGrand · 26/09/2021 12:14

That is grim. And no, not all men are that gross. My DH is not too lazy to walk into the house to go to the toilet.

needynelly56 · 26/09/2021 12:15

Caught my son doing that once, as he couldn't be bothered to wait for the toilet xx

Dillydollydingdong · 26/09/2021 12:15

Cats do it, dogs do it, horses, cows, all animals do it. It doesn't do any harm. Why is it a problem?

ShrikeAttack · 26/09/2021 12:16

Is it that gross? I imagine most gardens are covered in a variety of animal excreta. He's saving water on flushing so it's probably more environmentally friendly!

Noshowwithoutpunch · 26/09/2021 12:17

I'm with you, OP.
We have a small passage between our house and garage that leads to our back garden. One warm day the smell coming from there was vile and I'd previously noticed a damp corner where there was mud and rotting leaves accumulating.
Turns out he pisses there on a night when he goes to lock up.Apparently it's so he doesn't wake the dc Angry

nordicnorth · 26/09/2021 12:18

Disgusting! My husband is pretty gross but this would be repulsive to me!

nordicnorth · 26/09/2021 12:19

I wouldn't like to be your neighbours either!

billy1966 · 26/09/2021 12:20

So many men must be utterly dragged up.
So grim.

GreyhoundG1rl · 26/09/2021 12:23

No, of course all men aren't. You've found yourself a fairly grim specimen, unfortunately.

Buildingthefuture · 26/09/2021 12:27

My husband does this! It’s not my favourite thing I must admit, but we don’t have neighbours, the garden is massive and we have loads of dogs who obviously pee in the garden….so I’m not that arsed about it!

Stovetopespresso · 26/09/2021 12:28

yeah my dh is housetrained!! leaves the door open but wees inside.

bigbaggyeyes · 26/09/2021 12:29

My dp does this if either me or the dc are using the loo (we've only got the one), as long as the neighbours don't see and it's not in an area we use, then I don't see what the issue is

youvegottenminuteslynn · 26/09/2021 12:31

Fuck me, this would make someone so unattractive to me bleurgh 🤢
Onelifeonly · 26/09/2021 12:33

I don't think peeing outdoors is gross in itself (done it many times on walks, holidays etc), as long as it is soaking into the ground and not onto concrete, but he sounds very lazy, which is not attractive.

Just found out? Surely you must have noticed him going out into the garden at unusual times?

Simonjt · 26/09/2021 12:40

Is he at least weeing into a drain or on soil so it doesn’t smell? Urine will seep into concrete, paving etc and leave a very bad smell.

No, not all men are that grim, but I’m fairly convinced that straight men are a different species.

girlmom21 · 26/09/2021 12:42

Nope you've got a gross one. The bogey flicker is gross too...!

LaBellina · 26/09/2021 12:44

I once turned down the invitation for a second date because a man admitted peeing in his garden because he couldn’t be bothered to go to the toilet if he were outside drinking or having a BBQ. Most of my female friends were ‘eeeeew what a nasty man’ when I told them the story.

No this isn’t normal and tbh for me it would be a dealbreaker.

2bazookas · 26/09/2021 12:45

I encouraged DH and my sons to pee in the compost heap and did so myself . a zillion times. (An arrangement involving a carved-up plastic milk bottle and high hedges, if you wanna know)
