I got some great advice yesterday then admin removed the thread! I actually didn't screen shot the information I needed so I'd like anyone with good tech skills to message me. I found a phone, I won't go into details in case the same person comes back to bash me again. I need to see what's on the phone. Last active Monday am and been in use since Feb 2021 (friend has found out that part) I'm pretty certain and have that guy sinking feeling but I need evidence for my own mental state! Don't bash me, all I want is tips/tricks to get into this phone. It's locked and I don't know the password. Was on airplane mode but isn't now, no notifications have come through. H is panicking about it for sure.. not that I care! He's done stuff before so has a history of being a very cleaver cheating B

I’m not sure how to ‘hack’ yourself into an iPhone- think it might be quite tricky. However, he might have finger print recognition or face recognition log in on it? If finger print this can be done whilst he sleeps. If face- a bit trickier as the eyes have to be open. Have you got the same model of phone yourself? If so perhaps change the backing for yours and somehow do it whilst he thinks it is your phone. Like perhaps whilst your looking on your phones before bed, angle it towards his face.

Has your H mentioned anything about the missing phone? Does it also have finger print access?

Not sure if this is proper advice or not but maybe don't let it go flat as when you turn it back on again it MUST have the pin code entered. (The finger / Face ID will not work)

I think but wanted to add in case it's of help.

If you hook it up to iTunes any info on there (numbers etc) should be visible? You'd think I'd never owned an iPhone when I've had one for 10 years and not sure how they work! But I think the iTunes thing is a way to get into a locked one?

Often see phones unlocked signs in windows .

Tried all sorts of combinations and so far no good.. ban me? 😳 I know I won't get answers from him hence me needing to see it first hand for myself. I seen these type of threads myself in the past play out, always wondered why the wife/gf forgave and then got stung again and here I am.

I second that, get it unlocked by one of these stores. Failing that all I can suggest is just telling him to open it then and there and give you free access to it to go through

Why would the mods ban this but be okay with all the other posts that come up a few times a week with people snooping on husband/partners phones?

When my Dad had an affair my Mum took his phone to one of those phone shops. Not an official one but the small ones that fix your screens on the cheap. For £50 he was able to unlock it and also recover the last photo that was sent from my Dads phone. It was an Android though so I don’t know if that makes any difference.

Does he type the passcode into it? If so you could clean it really throughly and then after he’s typed the passcode in, see if he’s left finger print grease marks on the phone. It would tell you which numbers are in the code to narrow it down. But I guess you’d have to give the phone back for that.

How about saying youve seen a post of someone who has found a phone and they require the pin as proof of ownership ? You may have to go as far as making a poster or having a friend to text you pretending they found the phone. A bit deceitful but that's all I can think of x

What happens if you put the SIM into your phone? Would that come up with anything? Even just a contact list? I'm not that tech savvy with phones

If it’s a locked IPhone there is no way to unlock without the code or bio-metric fingerprint/ face.
The plug into a computer thing will all you to put a locked iPhone into recovery mode so it can be wiped and restored from a iTunes/ iCloud backup.

Keep an eye on his normal phone. Without the one you now have he may use his usual one for contact he'd prefer to keep secret, at least until he can replace his second one.
