Underwear showing up - 100% not mine

I know there's been a lot of this on here recently, that's probably what's spurred me to post this. I'll try to keep this short but factual.

About six months ago I found a well worn black bra amongst some clothes that I was folding. Definitely not mine as both cup and back size was smaller than mine. We concluded that it belonged to his mum who stayed with us for a few days a couple months prior. Strange thing about this is that his mum claimed to have left some shorts that she would not stop hounding me for for months after, they weren't at my house.

Fast forward to a month ago. Once again, folding washing from the dryer and found some lacy black french knickers. Again, well worn, 3 sizes too small to be mine.

I asked him about them in a light manner, asked what they were all about to which he answered in humour saying "not this again!" Seemed almost repulsed at my audacity to ask him. He swore he had no idea about where they'd come from.

Now here's my issue. Firstly, I found them about a week or so after I'd taken my daughter on a 5 day holiday. Secondly, I've moved house numerous times since I left home so they're not my old ones or anything, plus even as a teen/early 20's I have never worn that size underwear.

I want to believe him because I can't imagine he'd do it but equally, where the hell have these knickers come from?!

Someone I knew through a friend was sleeping with another woman's boyfriend they were both kind of fighting over him strangely, she would leave her underwear there to wind her up..

Historically he's a Compulsive liar and a serial cheat, I'm not sure it's a hooker but he's 100% cheating. Probably on hook up sites over hookers now as free.

To reasonably prove doubt you need firm evidence or a confession. You don't need both, yet you seem to think you do. I'm guessing that's because gaslighting is one of his many tricks.

Everything you have written suggests that him cheating is just one of many problems in this relationship. Do yourself a massive favour and end it. You really don't need to wait until he has sucked the marrow from your soul before you concede that he is not good for you.

If you were away for 5 days a couple weeks before finding these, is it possible he could have had a women over to stay for a few days? Which may be how they didn't realise they had left some undies behind, perhaps they got scooped up with his dirty clothes and put in the wash bin.
There is literally no other way a pair of womens knickers and bra could end up in your house unless they were left/put there.

Nowt weirder than the truth sometimes though. When I was single, I found about 3 pairs of ladies knickers in my washing, over the course of about 6 months, no idea who's they were or how they got there, but I knew they weren't mine! I asked my daughter to check with her friends at the time as I just assumed they were one of theirs but noone ever claimed them!
