What is this? Anyone with any knowledge? Dentist etc? Suspect possibility of love bite. Left by other woman on purpose? He's prone to binge-drinking and falling over. How likely is it there's an innocent explanation?

OP, do you have your partner's consent for that photo and to post it? I find it really distasteful. He's not your property and, if you don't trust him then what's the point of asking strangers about a mark?

Having caught up and, slightly hesitantly, may I suggest that a love bite should actually be called a ‘love suck’ ?
Haven’t given or received one since teenage years I think so I may be way off here . . .
