What is this on my DP's back? Done by another woman?

What is this? Anyone with any knowledge? Dentist etc? Suspect possibility of love bite. Left by other woman on purpose? He's prone to binge-drinking and falling over. How likely is it there's an innocent explanation?

It looks suspiciously 'pair of lips' shaped, to me.

indemMUND · 03/12/2020 22:43

I think you've got bigger issues to address here...

WatieKatie · 03/12/2020 22:45

Definitely doesn’t look like a love bite OP. Do you have reason to suspect that he’s cheating as that mark doesn’t scream affair to me.

I had a similar bruise on my arm recently from my iPhone armband.

HerNameIsIncontinentiaButtocks · 03/12/2020 22:47

Looks much more like an impact bruise than a love-bite to me.

SlightDrizzle · 03/12/2020 22:48

@AnyFucker

It's the face of Our Lord Jesus

Hallelujah !

I’m seeing Mother Teresa, though I gather she usually appears on crisps.
NewlyGranny · 03/12/2020 22:48

Teeth marks there. Off position, but hey. Male lover Brokeback Mountain style? What does he say it is? It's not a credible place for accidental bruising on furniture etc like a hip or thigh or even a shoulder, unless he's a hod carrier on a building site.

Sproutpie · 03/12/2020 22:52

Love bites don’t tend to have blank centres. It looks like something has been placed on the skin to create a love bite. Say a Hoover attachment.
What does he say?

cheesecrack · 03/12/2020 22:52

Where on his back is it? What does he say it is?

I have a bruise on my thigh and I don't know how I got it. I wish it was a love bite Sad

pooopypants · 03/12/2020 22:53

A bruise is the least of your problems OP

TripNeeded · 03/12/2020 22:59

Bruise.

Why are you suspicious?

littlebitupset · 03/12/2020 22:59

I see Trump.

If you squint it faintly says 'recount' at the edges

Opentooffers · 03/12/2020 22:59

Although red like a lovebite, the pattern doesn't fit so more likely a bruise. Lovebites cause bruise by the suction which is concentrated in the middle, so get a redness that is like a line and fades to edges but this has a gap and the red is on the periphery, so I'd guess more likely PFL ( pissed and fell over)

HallieKnight · 03/12/2020 22:59

He's cheating on you with gravity

Molehillfromamountain · 03/12/2020 23:00

My ex had a mark like that on his shoulder, he blamed the dog. Months later the woman he had been seeing contacted me and told me it was her.

Notapheasantplucker · 03/12/2020 23:00

It doesn't look it, but is it swollen/bump under the skin? If not I think it's a love bite.

hollieberrie · 03/12/2020 23:02

I'm quite into.. erm, being bitten in bed and honestly that's what they look like

SlightDrizzle · 03/12/2020 23:03

DianeChambers · 03/12/2020 23:03

He's prone to binge-drinking and falling over.

How often? I think the drinking is the main issue. And does he use being drunk as an excuse not to remember things?

jelly79 · 03/12/2020 23:04

@HallieKnight hahahahaha

OP he must have form for you to post this!!

YoniAndGuy · 03/12/2020 23:08

It is the face of Terry Wogan, God rest his soul.

Crystalvas · 03/12/2020 23:10

Definetly a love bite iv seen enough of them to know the difference between a love bite and a bruise from something

TheBaroucheBox · 03/12/2020 23:13

If it was a bruise, surely the whole 'bruised' area would be coloured IYSWIM, rather than have gaps as shown in the picture?

PyongyangKipperbang · 03/12/2020 23:13

Looks like a lovebite to me.

But the fact that it was your first thought suggests that there is more to this.

DappledOliveGroves · 03/12/2020 23:13

I often bruise like that if I have itchy skin - it's just how I'm prone to bruising. I frequently have patches on me that look like that.

FortunesFave · 03/12/2020 23:15

I cannot IMAGINE taking a photo of my husband's back and posting it on here! Did he know? Did he agree? If so, that's JUST as weird!

Your relationship is very dysfunctional.
