What is this on my DP's back? Done by another woman?

What is this? Anyone with any knowledge? Dentist etc? Suspect possibility of love bite. Left by other woman on purpose? He's prone to binge-drinking and falling over. How likely is it there's an innocent explanation?

I think it's just a plain old bite, not a love bite. Clearly there's been no suction, just teeth. Hence the clear not in the middle. If he'd fallen into a scaffolding pipe or something, the mark would be more clearly circular. That's human teeth at work there and he must have noticed it happening.

Someone has tagged him to show ownership.

MorrisZapp · 04/12/2020 09:12

My cousin went home to his wife with scratches on his face and back. She asked what they were and he admitted he'd been arguing with his bit on the side.

She chucked him out, he continued to fight physically with his new woman, they had a baby then she left the country.

His kids from his marriage don't see him any more. Utter car crash.

NewlyGranny · 04/12/2020 09:12

Clear bit, I meant t type.

If you are in doubt, just do a Google image search for 'human bite'. You'll need a strong stomach and many are much more savage, some clearly taken post-mortem, but you'll see the resemblance in plenty of them.

GameSetMatch · 04/12/2020 09:22

Looks like an innocent bruise to me??

Friendsoftheearth · 04/12/2020 09:29

I would say a bruise however the shape of it is almost you can the lips, so I would go with a lovebite, which is a bruise after all made in a different way.

You dp is drinking so much he is unable to manage himself would be a signal for me to leave the relationship regardless of how the mark got there.

TheQueef · 04/12/2020 09:31

So a love bite shouldn't involve actual biting?

Asking for a friend.

YoniAndGuy · 04/12/2020 09:41

@Gifgif

It is the face of Terry Wogan, God rest his soul.

As long as it's just his face!

LOL!!!!!!

Some very funny replies.
This is a strange thread, but to be seriously OP if this is the only reason you have for thinking he is cheating (and I assume it is as you have not posted any other information), than you have some very worrying issues that you need to address.

YoniAndGuy · 04/12/2020 09:43

Honestly though. You just can't tell from that bruise. You just can't.

I'd go with falling on something - the shape of a bruise is never an exact replica of what you fell on, but a love bite on someone's back like that would need to involve more suction I think because it's just a diffcult place to bite? - so I reckon it would be more messy and patchy-dotty bruise. The really purple areas simply look like hard impact with nothing around them.

OP, if you're at the stage where you suspect another woman enough to take photos and post them on the internet. Then your relationship is dead in the water.
knittingaddict · 04/12/2020 10:12

I think the relationship is months old and there have been issues before, so best to call it a day.

purplerainox · 04/12/2020 10:17

Some of these replies are really cracking me up..
let's be honest though OP why would anyone do a love bite on someone's back? At what point in the midst of passion do you begin sucking on ones back?

DuzzyFuck · 04/12/2020 10:19

Well this has cheered my Friday morning right up.

willsa · 04/12/2020 11:05

@Amotherlife " Could be due to a beating of some sort" 😂😂😂

RainbowAura · 04/12/2020 11:29

Some very funny replies here. Love the Elton John one.
He knows I took the pic. He asked me to. I took it so he could see what it was because I noticed it, asked what it was and he had no idea and couldn't contort himself to see it.
He doesn't know I've posted it.

I have to fess up. I've already called it a day. I just thought 'what is this on my ex's back' didn't have the same ring to it Grin
I found it in my camera roll last night and had always been unsure about it so thought I'd post for opinions. Please, no flaming!

PizzaForOne · 04/12/2020 11:53

Fell into a door handle in the back I suspect. I've had very similar on my hip

No it is not. It's Des 'O' Connor
midnightstar66 · 04/12/2020 12:13

Also you bruise much more easily when drunk due to the thinning effect alcohol has on the blood (not to mention the falling over aspect).

Lora88 · 04/12/2020 17:56

I’ve got to admit it does look like a love bite
