What is this on my DP's back? Done by another woman?

What is this? Anyone with any knowledge? Dentist etc? Suspect possibility of love bite. Left by other woman on purpose? He's prone to binge-drinking and falling over. How likely is it there's an innocent explanation?

@SlightDrizzle

So the OP has photographed her husband’s bare back and put it on the Internet , and another poster has given her husband two experimental love bites, taken photos, and put them on the Internet?

Can someone have their husband get drunk and bump into a variety of projecting objects and take photos for research purposes?

Grin

Love it when a thread takes a bizarre turn.

Feel for OP though. Hope she gets it all resolved.

I second this!

This is the most bizarre thread I've seen in a while. I hope nobody snaps and farts!

BadTattoosAndSmellLikeBooze · 03/12/2020 23:52

have you - or your dh - ever felt you are a little overinvested in this site?

🤣

Chloemol · 03/12/2020 23:55

It’s a bruise, he has knocked into something

tabulahrasa · 03/12/2020 23:55

“Can someone have their husband get drunk and bump into a variety of projecting objects and take photos for research purposes?”

I could maybe just push him into stuff? I mean, I feel the bruising wouldn’t be much different?...

igotdemons · 03/12/2020 23:57

It’s a bruise, my DH gets them from work when he lifts heavy items on his shoulders etc.

Actually it would a little as when you're drunk your body doesn't react in time where as when you're not you tense in preparation for the impact
Staffy1 · 04/12/2020 00:02

A bruise. I had one that looked like that on my elbow after a heavy-handed blood test. Looked very similar with lots of dark red dots that fused together over they days before fading.

SlightDrizzle · 04/12/2020 00:03

Sorry, @tabulahrasa, if what @HallieKnight says is correct, he needs to bump into things of his own accord. You could blindfold him, I suppose. Does he sleepwalk? Grin

tabulahrasa · 04/12/2020 00:05

See I thought maybe the pushing would compensate for the not being drunk?

Ah well.

To be fair, I’m not really sure he’d be as up for it as I am...

WillSantaBeComingToTown · 04/12/2020 00:08

Any chance he has covid?

I had 14 random bruises on my front alone (couldnt see my back) ranging from nail size to 10+ cms. Got them before I realised I had covid and they were really yellow by the end. Some of them were stringy bruises like that one rather than dense

Yes, for all we know @Krazynights34’s husband is shaking his bitten arm and saying ‘What was THAT all about?’

I'm supposed to be sleeping and I'm reading this thread thinking WTAF...

HeronLanyon · 04/12/2020 00:14

I can see it being either.
The u or dome shaped mark on the right is dammed odd if it’s a lovebite though.

Krazynights34 · 04/12/2020 00:16

Sorry I’m on the booze... it seemed funny to test it @ pallisers. Probably not funny for the OP, sorry op

tabulahrasa · 04/12/2020 00:17

Surely she sucked on his arm? Not actually bit it Shock

Weird teeth? Could everyone please check their female friends and family members for strange projecting teeth at one side? Or maybe a tusk?
Krazynights34 · 04/12/2020 00:19

@ Kaliorphic - definitely awake and we were laughing about it (I have permanent braces, so it was a bit erm.. drunk(ish) amusement). Again, sorry OP

LethargicLumpOfLockdownLard · 04/12/2020 00:20

If I'm going to get invested in this (and potentially complicit in ethically dubious consent issues) I would say it's a bruise.
I'll support my position by saying I'm a nurse with a teenage son who recently started coming home with love bites.

Over-invested...

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 04/12/2020 00:29

I'm thinking it's a bruise. I've got a gym top that leaves me with pinch like bruises that colour like that (elastic crossover straps)

A love bite tends to be more of a block bruise in my experience.

Also seconding @SlightDrizzle request for a drunk dh to test the injury theory.

HeronLanyon · 04/12/2020 00:31

slightdrizzle A tusk! yes, a young narwhal maybe ?

EssenceAbsolue · 04/12/2020 00:31

Just promise you will let us know, once you find out whether it's a bruise or something else
