What is this on my DP's back? Done by another woman?

What is this? Anyone with any knowledge? Dentist etc? Suspect possibility of love bite. Left by other woman on purpose? He's prone to binge-drinking and falling over. How likely is it there's an innocent explanation?

If it was a bruise, surely the whole 'bruised' area would be coloured IYSWIM, rather than have gaps as shown in the picture?

That's what I'm thinking. I get bruises all the time because I'm always in a rush, knock into things and don't even register that I've done it at the time. They never, ever look like that.

I can't imagine anyone trying to put a love bite on the back. It's like trying to leave a love bite on the table.

A simple Google will tell you that the pic is very much like a lovebite. They dont all look the same.....or did he tell you he banged his neck on the kitchen door?

Damn strange place for a love bite. And not shaped exactly right for a bite in that spot...the skin is too taut for it.

If he’s a grown man it’s a bruise.
I don’t think I’ve seen a love bite since 1998.

My ex had marks like this but said it was from his protective work vest : well he's cheated on me and now I don't know

I get those if I'm carrying a rucksack or similar, kind of nips the skin.

So the OP has photographed her husband’s bare back and put it on the Internet , and another poster has given her husband two experimental love bites, taken photos, and put them on the Internet?

Can someone have their husband get drunk and bump into a variety of projecting objects and take photos for research purposes?

DH gets these marks (except a few and a different shape) in his back from chafing. The straps of his good bag or gym equipment.

That's a bruise.......can even see the tracking lines.

And just sticking it here if a man did this to a woman on here he'd be hung, drawn, quartered, publically flogged and have YABU tattooed on his forehead using the blood from his withered guts.
