Thoughts on men that like younger women

So I seem to come across a lot of blokes late 20's early 30's who like younger girls, between 19-21. I know we are only talking around 10 years age gap here but I think it's disgusting...

I remember when I was 19 at uni and my flat mate's 29 year old friend was trying to sleep with me - I thought he was weird as hell! I was never a immature 19 year old but still, 19 to me is still VERY young.

Is this totally normal? Am I being unreasonable here for judging a bloke for constantly liking younger girls photos? I appreciate these girls look late 20's but for some reason it freaks me out and puts me right off them.

And there are a lot of men claiming thag their attraction to females is based on fertility and can’t be helped because it’s a biological response Id just because very cautious of any man who claims his attraction to females is biologically driven and based on their fertility - considering fertility starts at around age 10 or sometimes even earlier . And I’d be wondering how he assesses the ages of these fertile ‘women ‘ he’s attracted to considering it’s not always easy to tell the age of a teenager . Put it this way . I’d be careful about having my teenage daughters around a man who claims he is biologically driven to find youth attractive . Does this mean he’s got attraction to underage females but simply doesn’t act on it because of social restraints And I will leave my input there

How is this in any way relevant? The op is talking about men in their late twenties having a relationship with a woman in her early twenties. Why bring paedophiles into it? A 29 year old man isn't a paedophile for dating a 21 year old.

Of course a 29 and 21 yr old are not the issue but the thread is about ‘thoughts on men that like younger women ‘ not just the 21 and 29 yr old . A few posters have justified men wanting younger women saying its natural because they are biologically driven to want fertility and youth. It’s absolutely relevant to that !

But you've just said it's about men wanting younger women - a ten year old is not a woman, so how is referencing paedophiles in any way relevant?

There's a huge difference between a man wanting to have a child with a woman and a man wanting to abuse a ten year old. Why are you trying to conflate the two issues?

Which raises the question of how the man who is supposedly biologically driven to want youth and fertility KNOWS it’s a woman . Perhaps she may not be 10 . Perhaps 14 ? 15 ? How does a man who claims he’s can’t help it he just sees the cues of fertility and is attracted possibly know the female is a woman? Hence my question about whether men who claim this are in fact attracted to underage females and only not acting on it due to laws

It’s really not a hard concept . One can’t claim biologically drives men to desire youth/ fertility and say oh but they have some built in radar where that only kicks in once the female is 18 .

You clearly don’t get this and life’s way to short to spend a minute more trying to explain such a simple concept as fertility starting before the legal age .

And yes Paedophiles have used the argument of females being fertile and men just being attracted to fertile females for eons ... just sickening really

Well I took the reference to fertility to mean wanting to have a child. Clearly you've ascribed a different meaning to it.

I still think it's ridiculous to try and argue that a man who is attracted to a woman younger than him is interested in children.

If a woman wanted to meet a younger man would you be accusing her of being interested in ten year olds, or even 14, 15 year olds?

One of the men I know is in a relationship with a woman more than fifteen years older than him. Do you assume that when she was thirty she fancied fifteen year old boys?

I think the men are attracted to the physical attributes that indicate fertility, such as an hourglass figure, long hair, good skin etc which are tied up with younger women.

Not just the fact they are fertile in itself, iyswim
