All this talk of music earlier made me sneak on 2 tracks when I was tidying the kitchen that are NC's music and you know what ..it didn't even feel too bad although to be fair I had already bawled my eyes out to Set Fire to the Rain ( but think that affects me as reminds me of a very tough marriage time ) and yes it has come on board now for NC.

I have to be doing something right here surely .

I'm saying this but have woken thinking about NC and feeling hugely stressed and nauseous today and I feel like this is a bit of a setback . I can only guess it is because I was reading some messages again last night and played "the music" . On the surface it was Ok but underneath maybe not so ...so lesson learnt! I have just caved from what was going to be Day 1 of no WhatsApp and looked at Whatsapp too. Sigh....

In other news I have a first "meet/date" on Friday - fear he is going to be Mr Boring though.

Day 19 NC.
I’m supposed to be working on myself during NC, but I feel miserable. I’m not looking at his pictures etc but I am reading ‘how to get your ex back’ sites. Have even bought a book! I’d only admit that here!
I’m finding NC easy, as I’ve not done 30 days yet, but I know I’m pinning too much hope on that when I contact him, things might be different.

seshi You seem to have good dialogue with your NC (helping him with his phone), can you use concert as a turning point - find out where you are one way or the other?

ravens well done on Day 19 - TBH I don't think it matters what "tactics" we use to get through it ...my prop has been my WhatsApp checking and yours is your book . You will feel differently the longer you go . Sometimes we just have to reign our minds in as it is the brain which is our betrayer .
