I'm so so sad, didn't see it coming this time. Been lots of occasions in the past when we thought we'd lose him but he fought back and pulled through. Too much for him this time. One month today we would have been married 24 years.
Being self indulgent posting but I'm trying to put on brave front for dc even though 3 of them are adult and trying to be brave for me. We all loved him so much.

I'm so sorry for your loss Juan.
Hold on to your children, literally. Hug each other, cry, scream - whatever the circumstances of a death there is no right way to grieve, only a way to grieve that is right for you.
You don't have to be strong, but you can if you want.
If you want time out on your own that's OK, but if you want people around you that's OK too.
Look after yourself and each other as best you can and in the ways you all need. And for now take each minute as it comes, with whatever each minute brings.
