I don't know what to do. I work in a smallish team and we all get on really well. I was at university with my immediate boss about 10 years ago, we knew each other, but not all that well and I hadn't seen him until I started this job last year. I have just come out of a 5 year relationship and he has been single for the last year or so since his engagement broke up. We were working late to meet a dealine last night and were joking around, I have no idea what came over us but we were both being a little flirty and we ended up kissing. I went back to his apartment and we ended up in bed together. I never do this! Now I'm really worried about seeing him at work on Monday. Should I just act like it never happened or try and speak with him about it? I feel like a total idiot, and can't believe I did this.

i am wishing you a very uneventful week!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 08/11/2016 08:31

Hope you're not in too much pain today Sad. Don't worry if you feel a bit emotional and shaken up today, that's normal.
Not the same as you, but I was knocked over by a car years ago and remember being an emotional wreck the next day, I think I cried for hours from the shock I suppose!

In answer to your question about what to call Him now, I think Lovely Boss suits Smile.

HaveILostMyMind · 08/11/2016 12:52

Feeling a bit rough today, but have the day off work because I'm sleeping with the boss My junior came to visit and get a run down on my work stuff and said lovely boss is very grumpy ( he actually said he was being an A-hole) and had phoned the court to scold them for letting me get punched in the face. I think I passed my first work/relationship balance test because I didn't slap my junior round the head for calling lovely boss a rude word. Grin

Well after what you went through yesterday I hope you have more than 1 day off???

HaveILostMyMind · 08/11/2016 13:09

hellsbells maybe I'm just not that good in bed? Grin jokes (obviously I'm amazing) Work have actually said I can stay off until the bruising/swelling goes down, but I'll probably go back tomorrow so things don't slip in the lead up to Christmas, and just send the poor junior to all the client meetings Wink

If you suspect then report Hmm

Cary2012 · 08/11/2016 18:06

Surprised you weren't kept in overnight in hospital with those injuries. DDs a nurse and concussed vomiting patients are usually admiitted.
