Don't really want to go into detail as it will out me but has anyone ever rung woman's aid once you've walked out the house to leave that day, I need advice on what to expect when I do it myself. I have no family or friends to go to it will be me and my child with a tiny amount of stuff. I have no money or i.d (I wasn't allowed to get a passport ect) please any info on what expect would really help

Yea it's important that she is safe enough to take the steps . I myself planned it many a time but one small thing out of place may throw her plans out as they did me . The day I planned to go he stayed working at home so I had to carefully plan it all again

Dontyouopenthattrapdoor · 05/09/2016 20:05

Hope you're ok OP.

Op, go to your children's centre. The outreach staff will help you. Or health visitor can help too.

ElsaAintAsColdAsMe · 06/09/2016 07:22

Absolutely sashh

Whether you managed to get away or not really we are still here for you. A lot of us have been there, making plans to get away and not managing for whatever reason, in my case it (and probably a lot of others too) I planned my escape several times. The day I finally did it I didn't plan it at all.

You have done the right thing involving the police, you obviously have good instincts as you knew things were escalating. You have been smart and kept yourself and your LO safe, well done you Flowers

There will be ups and downs along the road, so please come back anytime and ask for more support. MN is alway open and there are lots of women who have been where you are now and want to reach out and help .
