Good luck really. You can and will do this. Another voice to reassure you that life is so much better away from an abuser. Let us know that you & LO are safe x

wonderwoo · 05/09/2016 10:31

Good luck OP. You can do this, one step at a time. My friend did this and a year later, she is safe and happy and in her own home. Dont think of all the things that worry you, just concentrate on the next thing you need to do. We are all behind you.

sealsandbeachballs · 05/09/2016 14:24

Just to add the police can and will accompany you home for belongings.

Massive luck.

rhuhbarb4 · 05/09/2016 15:40

I am really hoping that the op not posting anything today is a sign that she managed to get away and is not able to connect to a Internet connection to update us.

WindPowerRanger · 05/09/2016 16:21

With you in spirit, OP.

RosaRosaRose · 05/09/2016 19:12

Elsa I really hope things are OK. Do you think no news means good news? Let's hope so. So many people wishing you happiness Really x

ElsaAintAsColdAsMe · 05/09/2016 19:19

I think so, if op has topped up a payg phone she probably doesn't have the data on.

I didn't really expect to hear anything from her, you know how mad things get when you first leave Rosa she will have tonnes to sort out.

She's been nipping on as and when she can usually so I think it has to be a good sign that she hasn't today.

hippydippybaloney · 05/09/2016 19:23

Good luck OP - I hope you've managed to get away Flowers

RosaRosaRose · 05/09/2016 19:33

Just a thought, Really if you didn't manage to get to the bus ( and I really hope you did - am sure you have) never be afraid to come back and tell us. We will still be here. x

ElsaAintAsColdAsMe · 05/09/2016 19:44

Rosa is right.

I imagine all of us have left in our heads about 50 times before we actually managed it, I know I certainly did.

Don't be ashamed or embarrassed if that is the case really

hippydippybaloney · 05/09/2016 19:50

Completely agree.

Nobody will judge if you haven't managed to do it today, whether it was for practical reasons or because you just couldn't face it yet. It's ok. Everyone will support you while you get to that place where you are ready and it is doable, and beyond.
