If you were sexually active at 14, can you say anything about why?

Yes. With same age boyfriend, all very consensual and fun.

14 lots of kissing and pushing against each other fully clothed then progressing onto a lot of intimate touching - well being touched, I didn't want to touch him (lol). First piv sex at 16 (with a different bf).

Oh and not because I wouldn't 'do it' just because he moved away :(

I had sex two weeks before my 16th birthday with a boy i'd been dating for at least a year (so had been doing everything but up until then). I was actually ready and he admitted after he probably wasn't and would have waited longer. Was a lovely first time though and we stayed together until age 18. I realise now how few people had a great 'first time'.
Young doesn't always mean bad, although appreciate not as young as 14.

No, I was a late starter, never even snogged till I was 17. That old saying about "boys don't make passes at girls who wear glasses" seemed to be true for me, as soon as I got contact lenses at 17 a whole new world opened up. It was a long time ago, glasses were pretty hideous back then.

I have bipolar and lost my virginity on my first manic episode just after my 13th birthday. In the first week alone of my manic episode I slept with four boys one of which was 23 . Yes, I lost my virginity at 13 to my boyfriend who was the same age. We stayed together for a couple of years, and were more sexually active and adventurous than I am now. We broke up when we were 15 and, maybe to get my own back or show I wasn't hurting I slept with a 30 year old man. I genuinely believed I was an adult I think.

I don't regret losing my virginity so young, because he was my first love, and it was special in a way. I feel quite sick and creeped out thinking of the older guy though.

Yes and younger too. I was sexually abused at a very young age and a psychologist would probably say I was seeking validation and self worth through sexual activity.

Definitely not at 14! I had a boyfriend but definitely wasn't ready to be sexually active. I didn't feel "ready" or able to deal with the potential consequences such as unplanned pregnancy or stds.

No. I was at 15 though. I was perfectly aware of what I was doing and don't regret it. I don't know what I would have done if the opportunity had arisen at 14 - I don't think I'd necessarily have been opposed to it.
