Why thank you MulipleMama Grin
Pic above in case you're interested!

Just showed my son. He now thinks you're the coolest person ever. You've knocked DH off the top spot! Grin

Can I ask why Optimus? I'm so curious! I've thought about a chest piece but I have no idea what to get!

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 22/05/2014 14:49

Wow, that's made my afternoon Grin sorry to your DH Wink

Well. I was a massive fan as a child and I'd had the Decepticons/Autobots at the sides for a while and I wanted a robotic orchids winding over my chest. My very trusted tattooist didn't like it so I asked him to do me a chest piece with Transformers and roses and the rest is history. I fell in love with the design the second I saw it!

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 22/05/2014 14:51

Ps - Love the sound of your back piece. Still haven't decided what I want on my back!!

MultipleMama · 22/05/2014 15:33

It's very nicely done and I love the colour choices!

My son loves watching the cartoons and the films, but starscream terrifies him so he can't watch them before bed! Grin

Okay, I've got to ask because I've always wondered. You have, in the nicest way possible, pretty big chesticles like me and which position (this is sound pervvy already!) did he tattoo you in. Oh, FFS. Basically where you sat up or laid down when he was tattooing? Cause I'd think it would be a tricky place to tattoo with our chesticles in way...

Did that make any sense at all?!

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 22/05/2014 15:52

Why thank you!

It was a combination of him leaning across me, then leaning over my shoulders and towards the last parts, almost sitting on me to finish it haha. But I was lying down, we tried me sitting but the angle was wrong. I think my boobs were somewhat of a hinderence as he was trying to steady his arm but they were in the way Grin

MultipleMama · 22/05/2014 15:58

Sounds like a comical experience! Grin

Mckayz · 22/05/2014 16:04

I'd love a chest piece but am also fairly large of nork! So I had wondered how it would work.

It is bloody brilliant Wicked!!!

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 22/05/2014 16:46

It would have been comical if it wasn't for the years of pain hahaha. On the final but of colour I threatened to kill him because he kept shading the bloody peach roses. I was a broken woman by the end!

... Didn't stop me going back to him to get my neck/throat done thou! Grin

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 22/05/2014 16:47

Years? I meant tears Lol.

And thank you very much McKayz Smile

I cried when he my feet. He did them in the same session about 3-4 hours each because I knew if I left I wouldn't go back for the other foot! I was walking funny for about 8 days. I can only imagine how your poor chest felt!

Mckayz · 22/05/2014 18:16

I really want my feet done but I'm not sure if I will cope. I found my lighthouse horrible in certain places. Especially right at the top on the bone.

My mum says her foot was her worst for pain.

MultipleMama · 22/05/2014 18:38

I think it's because feet are more bone than fat so you're just really tattooing on the bone.

I do however recommended numbing cream. It worked a treat for DH. He said it took the edge of the pain for awhile.

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 22/05/2014 20:32

I found my feet along with my shin and tops of my shoulders the least painful, bizarrely enough. Everywhere else killed though. Lol.
I second numbing cream, get Ametop and spread it on, cover with clingfilm and wait an hour. It does wear off after an hour though and its not advisable to use when you are having new lining done as it can distort the lines etc.
I used it once to have the colour done for the middle of Optimus.
It's a bit of a rude awakening when the feeling randomly comes back, but its worth it for those pain free minutes!!

FindoGask · 23/05/2014 16:22

I fully love your chest piece, wickedwitch. And props to you for getting it done - I don't think I'm brave enough for chest, despite a fair amount of coverage elsewhere.

I think front torso is out for me generally, but who knows what might happen one day! My backpiece comes round to my side ribs so they're out too. Legs are, as yet, uninked, though I am considering getting my (Japanese) backpiece extended down further over my bum onto the backs of my thighs.

I'm deffo getting my feet done, one day. I love geometric dotwork/pattern work tattoos on feet, I think they look so pretty.
