Is this title too rude?!!!

I appreciate everyone warning caution. Trust me, I'm using this place to rant and rave and swear and all that,... at the moment I haven't done anything. And even if I do manage to locate him (with some first class help!) I might not necessarily do anything with that information just yet. But I would just like to know, that's all, instead of driving round looking for his car all the time,.... Just this knowledge will make me feel a bit more empowered.

All advice on here is very helpful - the calm, the practical, the hysterical, the funny, the 'been there done that', it's all amazing and I value all of it. Smile

Ooh sandwich spread...

bogeyface · 22/08/2012 00:31

I made Christmas Chutney one year when we were poor.

By the time you have bought the ingredients and jars etc, Christmas chutney is more expensive than buying presents, in case anyone wants to know!

OK, OK, I confess that my sin against preserved foods is....

I like raw Brussels Sprouts.

Piccalilli just looks wrong.... I know what's in it... I know why it's that colour but it still just looks wrong

bogeyface · 22/08/2012 00:32

Homemade Cherry Brandy. The ultimate preserve. Gets you pissed and is a genuine 1 of 5 a day!

tuckingfits · 22/08/2012 00:32

Mint chutney. It's real according to wiki.

Bossybritches22 · 22/08/2012 00:32

......and we're gallopping down the home to the 1000.......the Chutneytwunt Derby is hotting up.

loveisalaserquest · 22/08/2012 00:32

Oldlady don't think your sneaky diversionary tactics will work at Chutney Club! Tell tell!

northcountrygirl · 22/08/2012 00:33

lou just caught up, sounds like you've had a worse day than you needed. It's not surprising you want to talk to him, you've spent years going to him when making decisions so it's completely normal.

Make sure you take care of yourself before you make any decisions, you needn't share with us, but if you need support I'm sure there are plenty of us who will happily do so without judging whatever you decide.

Definitely put a formal complaint in at your gp's. It's appalling that you were sent to that clinic without warning.

I hope you sleep well, tomorrow's a new day and all that malarkey. Ignore the silly posts from tonight, some people have no empathy for others.

Nicolasix · 22/08/2012 00:33

Cranberry sauce with Camembert - yummy but I will forego for you Lou.

I'm so sorry this thread has turned crappy too. Last thing you need.

loveisalaserquest · 22/08/2012 00:34

Oh maaaan. X posted. If it's confession time, I eat raw potato.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 22/08/2012 00:34

sweet chilli dip - actually good with raw brussels sprouts.

bogeyface · 22/08/2012 00:34

:o If you tasted my chutney you would think that I really had use leftover shit :o

My family were far to polite to say anything though!

belagh · 22/08/2012 00:35

Anyone tried carrot jam?

northcountrygirl · 22/08/2012 00:35

Cucumber spread? No I don't think I've had that pleasure. Bit I like raita and that has cucumber in it so it will be surely delicious!

tuckingfits · 22/08/2012 00:35

Raw Brussels sprouts? I can see the attraction but not sure I could bring myself to eat them. Love them cooked but still firm though.

Not as bad horrendously disgusting & cringeworthy as I had hoped!

bogeyface · 22/08/2012 00:35

Blelagh

No.

bogeyface · 22/08/2012 00:35

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 22/08/2012 00:36

bogeyface · 22/08/2012 00:36

Stop it, I know what you are thinking!

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 22/08/2012 00:36
