Is this title too rude?!!!

I appreciate everyone warning caution. Trust me, I'm using this place to rant and rave and swear and all that,... at the moment I haven't done anything. And even if I do manage to locate him (with some first class help!) I might not necessarily do anything with that information just yet. But I would just like to know, that's all, instead of driving round looking for his car all the time,.... Just this knowledge will make me feel a bit more empowered.

All advice on here is very helpful - the calm, the practical, the hysterical, the funny, the 'been there done that', it's all amazing and I value all of it. Smile

Actually I don't think I have 148 Haikus in me at this hour

RichTeaAreCrap · 21/08/2012 23:37

Fill it up with branston pickle....let's show chutney that it is history.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 21/08/2012 23:42

Can offer some pickled gherkhins (?) if that helps?

lunar1 · 21/08/2012 23:43

Please leave Lou alone, you are a bully can you not see that. She has asked you to leave her thread, show some respect.

it is not appropriate on the thread, i did put a small reply earlier to you but the thread is about lou.

I was sent to an abortion clinic when i was having fertility treatment and miscarried. The receptionist told me it was the abortion clinic, it was so distressing that i left. I had been referred there in error, it does happen.

it is up to mumsnet HQ to decide if a poster is for real, imagine how much hurt you are causing this poor woman. you obviously dont believe her but you may be wrong, let her have a support network.

Portofino · 21/08/2012 23:50

Why would you post PMs on the thread? That is seen as REALLY bad form.

Portofino · 21/08/2012 23:51

Are you going to post my reply?

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 21/08/2012 23:56

Lunar only posted what she wrote to you. It might be poorer form to post your reply, Porto.

Mmmnotsure · 21/08/2012 23:56

BlueSkye said do not engage.
BlueSkye was right.

Mmmnotsure · 21/08/2012 23:56

Thinking of you, Lou.
[Repeat, till end of thread.]

lunar1 · 21/08/2012 23:57

I sent you a PM as I hoped you would leave lou alone without it continually being dragged onto the thread.

You complained in your reply that i didnt have the guts to say it on the thread. It was then mentioned in the thread that you had been accused of bullying. I didnt want other posters to be accused of saying it when it was actually me.

It is not bad form to post my own messages, it would be bad form to post your reply though so i haven't.

If you have a problem with my post then report it FGS, leave Lou's thread alone.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 21/08/2012 23:57
mysteriouslady · 21/08/2012 23:57

Its not bad form to post your own pms??

And as they had been mentioned already ............

This thread has really lost the plot, lou if you get this far, I'd just start a new one.

bogeyface · 21/08/2012 23:58

Can we please stop this?

If you must fight in public then start another thread.

Regardless of who is right and who is wrong, this thread is about supporting a woman who is going through the most horrendous time of her life, and we should all try to respect that.

We are grown ups, not school children. Lets ALL stop this tit for tat and focus on the only important thing, which is Lou.

Portofino · 22/08/2012 00:00

Sorry - she can feel free to post my reply if she wants. But she she should note that PM stands for PRiVATE messaging so she has made herself as BAD as me if she want to call me any names.

bogeyface · 22/08/2012 00:02

Port, really, pack it in now. If you stop now then you will retain the moral high ground, if you carry on with "She did/said...." then you wont. I appreciate that you feel strongly about this, but this thread really really isnt the place. Have some respect yeah?

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 22/08/2012 00:02

We only need 136 mentions of preserved foods to close this thread, so Lou can start a new one tomorrow.

bogeyface · 22/08/2012 00:02

Marmite.

IT COUNTS!!!!!

bogeyface · 22/08/2012 00:03

Pickled eggs....bleaurgh

skyebluesapphire · 22/08/2012 00:03

Hi guys. As somebody who has been here from the start with Lou, I just want to repeat do not engage, just ignore. Even if a post upsets you, do not respond to it as that is engaging an argument. This is advise I am repeatedly told about my STBXH and it applies equally here.

Lets all just get back to the job in hand of supporting Lou through this difficult time.

(Helpfully tries to fill the thread with the others and lobs in a jar of Branston)

Sleep well Lou :)

Portofino · 22/08/2012 00:07

I have spoken nothing but the truth on this thread, I am truly sorry if that makes me the bad person.

Bossybritches22 · 22/08/2012 00:07

lunar Sad Thanks for clarifying though you didn't need to.

lula wow I'd struggle to do ONE haiku let alone 148 at any hour Grin

Limericks however.......

There once was a man with degrees

Who fled with sponge, bucket & cheese

He like chutney on crackers,

Got kicked in the knackers

By MN-ers waving new keys!!

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 22/08/2012 00:11

Love the limerick, Bossy, but iirc Lou's mum scored the cheese. Grin
