How many men / women have you slept with?

Assuming you can remember that is.

Today for the first time ever I counted and it is 14 / 0*.

I am 35. This is just under 1 a year since I became sexually active (started late...4th term at uni). I'm not counting youthful messing about, I mean full sex.

This doesn't seem so many to me and obv its going to depend when you became monogamous anyway. But, I have seen articles that suggest a much lower figure, eg 7 for men 4 for women.

Am I a bit of a slapper (which I would be fine with, I enjoyed it) or are all these people just lying? I think the latter, because judging by who I have spoken to 14 is much more typical than 4.

exactly, it never occurred to me to count either and when I tried to remember I kept forgetting the odd one and coming up with different answers.

OK so if you started at 20 and it was 1 a year and just 1 in your 11 year LTR, you'd be on 9. You say 8, so you're almost exactly as "prolific" as me.

I reckon 1 a year is typical.

good question, well I was excluding giving hand jobs and getting them, which is as far as I went in my youth. After that it was full on intercourse - I accept there's a grey area here but I don't think I've been in it myself...

Am 33 and was in a monogamous relationship between the ages of 21 and 32. Was v busy before that though! There may be a few in there which probably shouldn't have been but overall je ne regrette rien. I always feel a bit sorry for women who have only ever slept with their dh (sorry if that sounds patronising, just think variety is the spice of life!)

Over 100, but I should probably point out that I am 47 and that's spread over 30 years. Still, I am proud of my Good Score. (I am not sure of the exact amount and it does depend on whether you count group sex as 1 (occasion) or 2/3/4 (participants apart from me.)

Oh yes, that's a point, are you counting it in terms of: PIV only? Do you include it if neither of you had an orgasm but you had his winky in your woowoo for a couple of seconds? Do handjobs or blowjobs count?

I don't think there's a 'good score' or 'bad score' is there?! Other than the score you're happy with!
