I feel like a right plonker for writing this but I need to get it out somewhere and don't really want to bring this out in RL.

I'm a married mum but have a daft crush on someone and I got it bad.

I feel really stupid. I know its normal to fancy people but I feel like a bloody teenager and can't stop thinking about him. My husband thinks it hilarious and its become a bit of a joke in the house, which is OK, but its pretty embarressing really. I mean I'm nearly 30, not 13 :(

I dreamt about this person last night (and yes as I'm about to type this I know how daft it sounds) but I woke up feeling like it was real and I 'miss him' now :s

I know it will eventually pass but just wanted to talk it out and get some reassurance that I'm not having a midlife crisis or some kind of meltdown?!

Surely its 'normal' to feel like this? Even at 30?

I love Christian Slater - he is just beautiful and I've wanted a piece since his Name of the Rose days [really showing my age now!] there is a bit in that when you can just quickly see his penis Blush soooo racy when you're 15...

He is crazy hot as Clarence Whorley in True Romance too.. phew, he is just, well, he's just, you know, just........

Kernowgal · 03/07/2012 22:26

Funnily enough, whoever said the Disney fox from Robin Hood - you're not alone! And I've heard other people say the same too.

Tom Hiddleston - totally gorgeous. It's those eyes. I fell for him hook, line and sinker after watching War Horse.

My big crush at the moment is Adam Levine out of Maroon 5. I challenge you to look at this picture (NSFW!!) and not feel something stirring.

My most embarrassing sleb crush, many many years ago, was Antony Worrall Thompson. EURGH! Oh god and Noel Edmonds! EUUUUUUURGH!

Clytaemnestra · 03/07/2012 22:51

Anthony Worrall Thompson? Meerkats? Really truly?
I feel so much better about the whole goblin fancying thing now.

Wine for all of us? Or have we had enough?

Thinking about it, I had an ex who had a thing for the cadburys caramel bunny.

TDada · 03/07/2012 22:54

this one

Midwife99 · 03/07/2012 22:57

I see your Gene Hunt (aka Philip Glenister) Eddie Izzard - ooooh both delicious but I'll raise you a Martin Clunes!

Midwife99 · 03/07/2012 22:59

Mind you Grohl & Gahan - what a combination!

mostlyhappy · 03/07/2012 22:59

Sorry to say it, Thumballina, but Chris Hemsworth looks like Wayne Rooney with highlights to me. His wife is gorgeous, though. I fancy Stephen Mangan at the moment but previously it was Simon Pegg/Christopher Eccleston. They will all fall in love with me one day and fight over who gets me..... In the meantime I will just go and mop that kitchen floor.

Dee03 · 03/07/2012 23:00

I had that with Heston Blumenthall! I thought he was amazing but not in that way, had a er .... interesting dream, then that was it, fancy the pants off him now.

MillyMack · 04/07/2012 09:47

You have an alphabetized list, Lady Clarice? Wow. Impressive. I feel like an amateur in comparison...

I second Plan B, by the way Wink

Flobbadobs · 04/07/2012 09:51

Ooh, Philip Seymour Hofman in The Boat That Rocked!! God knows why, I hate beards usually but he actually looks better with one..
Stellan Skaarsgard is still quite yum for his age, I watched the Exorcist prequel with him in it a while back, wouldn't have minded :)
Dick (richard mccourt) from Dick & Dom - my kids watch their stuff on Cbbc, I have to supervise my childrens television of course!!

newmum001 · 04/07/2012 09:56

Ooh i love a celeb crush. Atm mine are

Agent Morgan (criminal minds)

I dont want to write the next one but i'll be brave.

Harry Styles (one direction) Blush

Flobbadobs · 04/07/2012 10:10

Harry Styles brings out the mother in me. Everytime I see him I want to cut his bloody hair!

newmum001 · 04/07/2012 10:12

I love his hair!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 04/07/2012 11:48

Milly, I'm just sad dedicated Grin

Glad someone else gets the Plan B thing. I'm usually met with derisory laughter in RL.

countingto10 · 04/07/2012 13:17

I mentioned to DH that Plan B aka Ben Drew does it for me and he was both Hmm and Shock - as far as DH is concerned he is not my type and not what I usually go for! But my fantasy tastes are many and varied but usually alpha male types with a bit of rough thrown in eg Gene Hunt Grin (DH is far from a bit of rough (even more Hmm).

Plan B is probably the youngest I would go for as having a 19 yr old DS it tends to make me go a bit ewwwwwwww!!!!

StellaNova · 04/07/2012 16:10

On telling DH about crush, not only have I done this re Hugh Laurie but he informs me he has seen said HL naked (used to frequent same gym) so is one up on me there.

DartsAgain · 04/07/2012 16:58

I watched a music video by lostprophets this week (woke up in the night feeling ill and went to have a cuppa) and developed an instant crush on the singer, Ian Watkins.

He follows my usual type of very dark hair and eyes, and yet DP is grey eyed and has light brown hair.
