I feel like a right plonker for writing this but I need to get it out somewhere and don't really want to bring this out in RL.

I'm a married mum but have a daft crush on someone and I got it bad.

I feel really stupid. I know its normal to fancy people but I feel like a bloody teenager and can't stop thinking about him. My husband thinks it hilarious and its become a bit of a joke in the house, which is OK, but its pretty embarressing really. I mean I'm nearly 30, not 13 :(

I dreamt about this person last night (and yes as I'm about to type this I know how daft it sounds) but I woke up feeling like it was real and I 'miss him' now :s

I know it will eventually pass but just wanted to talk it out and get some reassurance that I'm not having a midlife crisis or some kind of meltdown?!

Surely its 'normal' to feel like this? Even at 30?

Betty, Jeremy Clarkson?! Grin I feel for you.

Pootles, quite, it's a safety valve. And by the way, I've also fancied Izzard for YEARS. There's no shame in it. It's his wit and intelligence; I think he's fascinating and he looks particularly fine in drag

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 03/07/2012 09:48

PS if anyone needs to be made to feel better, I also have a crush, very much tagged to and timed around Wimbledon, on Andy Murray. And that ain't very admittable in RL.

Pootles2010 · 03/07/2012 09:52

I know, the bastard! Eddie didn't though

I do think he's particularly charming, and so passionate and driven. I somehow tend to fancy older guys who are really good at what they do, which is why the RP thing is so perplexing!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 03/07/2012 09:54

I don't get the Pattinson thing personally, but sometimes a girl just needs a bit of pretty man to lust after.

CharltonHairstyle · 03/07/2012 09:55

I once had a dream about the Robin Hood...the Disney fox version!

His voice is lurverly Grin

LurkingAndLearningForNow · 03/07/2012 10:02

Liam Hemsworth (my DP won a look-a-like contest!)

And Ian Somerholder. Swoon

ThumbalinaDance · 03/07/2012 10:04

I don't like Liam at all!

Fox?! Grin

DottyDot - It took me ages to recover from the last episode of Ashes to Ashes. Enjoy. Wish I could see them all again for the first time

NicknameTaken · 03/07/2012 10:11

Simon Webb from Blue. And there are some photos when he's in a baseball cap and trainers and displaying his tattoos when he looks ridiculous, but there's a bit at the end of the music video for "Grace" when a girl pretends to steal his chips and he gives her this mock indignant look and oh God.

Jinx1906 · 03/07/2012 10:13

Richard Armitage - especially in Robin Hood, the leathers, guy liner ...

ThumbalinaDance · 03/07/2012 10:29

I'm not fussy - any film with a hot guy, with a plot that require him to take his shirt off a lot - pretty much ticks all the boxes for me Grin

MillyMack · 03/07/2012 11:18

I get crushes like this all the time.

My current one is Jack Lemmon (or rather his character in the Apartment, which I have watched about 5 times in a month and has turned into my break up film of choice). I feel rather sad that I will never meet a man like that (difficult because he is dead).

GemsAngels · 03/07/2012 11:37

Channing Tatum yummy!!
