I been sacked today.

For doing something inappropriate at work. Totally my own fault. Am devastated.

It involves another person, who is 3 days into a 2 week holiday with his df.

Aside from my own shame, embarrassment and general self-hatred, I don't know whether to try and get in contact with him. Nothing he can do, will ruin his holiday.

Such a fucking mess.

They might have been told they mustn't contact you. That's what's happened in my workplace.

They might have been told you left of your own accord.

They might be worried that they have written funny emails to you too and might be done for it. They may be lying low.

You don't actually know why they haven't contacted you, do you?

OP I think I know who you are too and if i'm right then you've had a lot on recently. I remember the thread but I think it disappeared?

Thread is still there as far as I know although it was a few months back?

Am feeling a bit brighter today, am off to visit family for a few days with ds.
