Sorry to ask such an intimate question but I would like to know how often you and your partner have sex (and how old your children are...because I wonder if the two are related).

I'll go first: only about once every other month! (so about 6x per year) - due to my total disinterest...(currently seeking help to find my missing libido - poor dh ). Children are 19m (immaculate conception!) and 3.5

The reason I wish to know is that this is a taboo subject which people understandably don't always discuss, and I just want to get a feel for the 'norm'. Was particularly prompted to ask after geekgrrl's thread where she mentioned that she and her dh get jiggy with it twice per week and people jokingly bantered that he should consider himself lucky. So I suspect that there are some relationships where it is infrequent.

I'm not after any gratuitous details!

DD is 12 weeks, we've had sex twice since she was born.

DS is 2. Until DD was conceived (when he was 13 months) it was about once or twice a month.

During pregnancy it happened about 4 or 5 times in total I think.

Once a week generally, if im lucky twice a week. In my house im the one who wants sex more not my DH!!!! DS is 5 and im 38 weeks pregnant so little less than that at moment!

My children are 17, 14 and 12, and I've been trying it for a long time. Got to the point where I'm hoping that my menopause will relight the fire lol!

HMC am not sure, we just had a bad year and my job is longggg hours so when I got home I just didn't have the energy and with him I think it was my moods. We did try it on a few times with eachother but either I wasn't in the mood or he wasn't. Its more to do with the stress of work with me, more than anything to do with the children.
