It's all about him

Can't believe I'm going to even talk about this without namechange but need to know I'm not imagining things. So, dp and I were laughing at the cat who was all snuggled into him this morning and started purring loudly when started to stroke and fuss her. Cue us laughing about how much she's enjoying being fussed.

Dp turns round to me and says 'I haven't been fussed in ages (in little boy voice) meaning sex of course.

We haven't had sex coming on for about a year now which is my fault since I have totally gone off it. Any attempts to talk about it have failed since he refuses to take on board some of the things I don't like/reasons I feel I've gone off the idea completely.

Have talked to gp 4 times now re no libido but other than swapping brands of the pill they don't know what could be causing it so am now stuck for ideas.

Anyway am just absolutely livid since it always seems to be about him him him in the bedroom. That comment earlier just made me so angry. Not 'we haven't done anything for ages, do you feel like it etc, no just He hasn't had it for ages.

All topped off with a wobbling bottom lip face and lots of sighing when i went to make a cup of coffee.

Just so tired of it all being my fault really, thanks for reading this ramble.

Awh am sorry you are not feeling well. I think it would be great if you could go home sick and do just that, curl up in bed with the kitties and just 'be'. I think after all you have been through you recently it would be a treat. More of a treat if you didn't feel unwell of course! Xmas Smile

BibiBlocksberg · 16/12/2010 11:20

Thank you for the sympathy Happy, much appreciated :)

Will book some 'duvet days' in the new year I think.

BibiBlocksberg · 16/12/2010 20:10

Am trying to make my new iPod alarm clock work but seems my iPod is missing a setting. Bugger!

Stollen is a great idea - am from Germany originally so it seems like a natural choice this time of year.

Am just off to make a portion of barbecue beef super noodles mmmmhhh Grin

StuffingGoldBrass · 16/12/2010 20:57

Stollen is a rather sticky cakey thing often eaten during the festive season.

Doha · 16/12/2010 21:04

Mmmmmmmmmm

Haggis anyone !!!!!! Smile

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 16/12/2010 21:15

for my tea this evening I have had egg'n'chips

it was yummy

BibiBlocksberg · 16/12/2010 21:16

Well the noodles were indeed super :) and so was the slice of toast I had with it - spread with tuna paste from one of those little jars.

All while watching rick stein cook all sorts of proper food.

I tell you, you are talking to one classy bird here :)

Tomorrow I think I'll up the ante a bit and have a multipack of pombears and a fruit shoot. Art!!

BibiBlocksberg · 16/12/2010 21:17

Not art is it!!!! Should have been Arf Blush

Katisha · 16/12/2010 21:35

Wasn't too bothered about Rick Stein tonight. All that lemon grassy star anisey stuff doesn't do it for me.
Stollen's what you want on a cold evening.

ElfPantsAtMidnightMass · 16/12/2010 22:51

Art, I'd call it. :o

Wishing I'd been round at AF's gaff for egg and chips now, instead of attempting to do all Christmas shopping in the space of about 6 hours.

Am chuckling at the vastly unlikely picnic of stollen, tuna paste, haggis, chips and supernoodles that this thread has to offer. I know not all of us have children but I can't wait to see the DM headline: Are. These. Monsters. Feeding. The. Nation's. Children? Shock

You know how feminism is supposed to lead to relationships breaking down, children being neglected and obesity (as well as WW3, AIDS, too many repeats on TV etc) - well, herewehaveit. Xmas Grin Feels good doesn't it?

ElfPantsAtMidnightMass · 16/12/2010 22:52

Oh and Bibi don't even think about not starting a new thread. (I laugh in your face, double negative)

Wish this one could be renamed "How to Dump Your Local Loser In Less Than 1000 Posts"

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 16/12/2010 22:54

< wanders back in with egg on chin for last few posts >

bibi yoo-hooooooooo

the last word is yours

use it wisely Xmas Grin

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 16/12/2010 23:00

I can't stay up to see the famous last words, I am knacked

bibi, it's been a blast

you have gained my respect, made me laugh, frustrated the fuck outta me at times but I am happy to have been on a journey with you

stick around and see you soon

ps. I have had a few glasses of red and I will deny this in the morning [kiss kiss]

BibiBlocksberg · 16/12/2010 23:02

Hi not keeping up tonight damn cold has nearly defeated me.

The dinner choices from this thread will probably appear on Matthew wright tomorrow under the tag line that elfpants suggested :)

Talking about how to dump your local loser - was dashing down the aisle at my very local supermarket tonight and suddenly found myself staring at the cap'n himself.

I just leaned forward a bit and stared at him but he didn't notice me (was side on concentrating on the daily reductions)

It was so surreal I just wanted to get away and not have to talk to him.

Can you all tell I'm really missing him? :)

Right, am wiped out and going to sleep now.

Goodnight fellow fine food lovers.
