It's all about him

BibiBlocksberg · 07/11/2010 12:29

Can't believe I'm going to even talk about this without namechange but need to know I'm not imagining things. So, dp and I were laughing at the cat who was all snuggled into him this morning and started purring loudly when started to stroke and fuss her. Cue us laughing about how much she's enjoying being fussed.

Dp turns round to me and says 'I haven't been fussed in ages (in little boy voice) meaning sex of course.

We haven't had sex coming on for about a year now which is my fault since I have totally gone off it. Any attempts to talk about it have failed since he refuses to take on board some of the things I don't like/reasons I feel I've gone off the idea completely.

Have talked to gp 4 times now re no libido but other than swapping brands of the pill they don't know what could be causing it so am now stuck for ideas.

Anyway am just absolutely livid since it always seems to be about him him him in the bedroom. That comment earlier just made me so angry. Not 'we haven't done anything for ages, do you feel like it etc, no just He hasn't had it for ages.

All topped off with a wobbling bottom lip face and lots of sighing when i went to make a cup of coffee.

Just so tired of it all being my fault really, thanks for reading this ramble.

Xmas Grin

got to go now...fully expect to hear that he is finally gone by tomorrow...

BibiBlocksberg · 14/12/2010 22:14

Yes, so do I Lydwatt - thanks for your company tonight!

ElfPantsAtMidnightMass · 14/12/2010 22:19

I'm eating late night tinned soup and watching "Don't Tell the Bride" - anti-shit man propaganda if ever there was some.

I loves you lot... Xmas Grin

BibiBlocksberg · 14/12/2010 22:27

Don't tell the Bride - who oh why do they let themselves in for it. No amount of money in the world would prise my controlling fingers off of my own wedding :)

He's still not back from the first round of dropping his possessions off at mother dearest.

Selfish git, probably banking on waiting til I've gone to sleep and plans to creep in and sleep here again then.

OP posts:
ElfPantsAtMidnightMass · 14/12/2010 22:29

Don't you have a chain on your door? Or an inside bolt? And I'm not even joking. Text him to say, I'm off to bed, assume you'll be back to pick up the rest tomorrow.

ElfPantsAtMidnightMass · 14/12/2010 22:32

Here if you need to watch a poor pigletesque girl get married off to a farty farmer who's secretly in love with his best friend. Not that I've got to the end yet to see whether she goes ahead with it or not.

I'm on the eggnog btw in absence of wine...

BibiBlocksberg · 14/12/2010 22:40

Eggnogg? Never had any but sorry to say sounds EWWWWW :)

Nope, no chain or bolt, just the key.

He's back now rooting around upstairs again.

No desire to artificially inflame the situation so will see what he comes up with when he comes down the stairs.

OP posts:
AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 14/12/2010 22:41

eggnog ?

bloody hell, that is true desperation Xmas Grin

bibi...remember what we said about fucking ourselves in the head with stoopid men ?

elf is right, text him to say the chain is on...stay at your mother's, you ain't getting in

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 14/12/2010 22:41

bugger, too late

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 14/12/2010 22:44

No desire to artificially inflame the situation Xmas Hmm

he is inflaming the situation by doing pinheads...don't you realise he is on a deliberate go-slow...I don't know how you are restraining yourself from putting the fucking frying pan round his head

please wise up

tell him to leave now and stay at his mums

you have work tomorrow and need your sleep, this is ridiculous

BibiBlocksberg · 14/12/2010 23:47

He's finally left about two mins ago.

Just as I was welling up a bit he delivered his parting shot (and this is word for word)

"I'll be back for the playstation tomorrow. I need entertainment sooner rather than later"

Well, any doubts I might have had were quelled by that comment.

Not, I love you, hope with every fibre of my being we can work this out (love of his life, remember)

Off to bed now as do have work in the morning as AF so rightly points out.

Thank you all once again for holding my hand through all of this.

OP posts:
AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 15/12/2010 07:19

aww, can't believe we missed that final moment...

however I do not think for one moment this is the last of the self-pitying and manipulative bullshit

he will come back for his PS and start settling right back in (if you let him)

ElfPantsAtMidnightMass · 15/12/2010 08:45

God Bibi you must be knackered this morning. But...good sleep?

Is there any way in the world you can drop his blasted game thingy round to his mum's house today?

Plumm · 15/12/2010 08:51

I've just caught up with this thread and just want to say WELL DONE BIBI!!!!

Leave the playstation on the front step for him, preferably in the rain or snow.

BibiBlocksberg · 15/12/2010 08:52

"aww, can't believe we missed that final moment..."

I know!!! (sob!!) Couldn't believe it either.

Damn that Egg Nogg :)

Feel fine this morning actually must be the quality of sleep I had and not the duration.

T'was lovely to be able to breeze through the house, switching on all the lights, drying my hair in the main bedroom etc etc.

I can't get over the playstation comment, bloody idiot!!! That would have been the last thing on my mind in a situation such as loccured last night.

Oh, well. Things can only get better from here :)

OP posts:
BibiBlocksberg · 15/12/2010 08:53

loccured? Making em up again :)

occured obviously

OP posts:
ElfPantsAtMidnightMass · 15/12/2010 09:05

Can you get it over to him today?

Do you realise you have 80 more posts on this thread in which to just wiggle your toes and look around at what a wonderful world it is? Xmas Grin

Have you got anything nice planned for this weekend? Might be a good idea. And I'm sure your friends will want to celebrate with you!

BibiBlocksberg · 15/12/2010 09:18

The weekend will feature a trip to Blockbusters for some nice films and plenty of sleep I think ElfPants.

Plenty of time to plan nice things - the world is my oyster now :)

"Leave the playstation on the front step for him, preferably in the rain or snow"

Good idea Grin

HappyDaysAreHereAgain · 15/12/2010 09:24

Bibi I have been following your thread from day one and I just want to say how brilliant I think you are. Well done on getting rid! You have done in just over a month what it took me 11 years to do Xmas Grin

You have a wonderful Christmas, you deserve it!!

ElfPantsAtMidnightMass · 15/12/2010 09:25

Forgot to say what a hilarious parting shot that was from him.

Not exactly up there with "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" is it?

good to know he's got his priorities back on an even keel though.

Mmm DVDs - what you going to go for do you think?

BibiBlocksberg · 15/12/2010 09:31

"You have done in just over a month what it took me 11 years to do"

Thanks HappyDays but I have known for years that I wasn't happy and it wasn't right.

Just kidded myself it wasn't so bad and it would get better. Err, no!

DvD's - anything with even a remotely girly or sentimental slant to it, comedy, substantial plot lines, films featuring a lot 'talking' (gasp!) try and catch up with the entirety of the Ugly Betty series.

Because of course, films he wanted to watch always had to feature plenty of explosions, guns, violence, nudity and Angelina Jolie.

The last two on that list together at the same time preferrably :)

OP posts:
ElfPantsAtMidnightMass · 15/12/2010 09:44

and ugly men streaked with dirt running round ruined buildings? I know the kind of thing.

You and the cats are going to be sooooo happy :)

BibiBlocksberg · 15/12/2010 09:52

"and ugly men streaked with dirt running round ruined buildings? I know the kind of thing"

Exactly!

Or the Matrix entire trilogy A G A I N.

The kitties will adjust hopefully, the little one was totally in love with the Cap'n though.

Mmhhh.....must be something wrong with that animal..... :)

OP posts:
ElfPantsAtMidnightMass · 15/12/2010 09:57

I have a goodly portion of contempt for anyone who likes the Matrix trilogy - it's for those who have never had a thought in their lives IMO. Oh my god, what if the world as we know it isn't just like we think it is

Like people who say the Da Vinci code is their favourite book. Nothing wrong with it and all, but, you know...

Xmas Grin
