All views on The Archers welcome here! New blood welcomed. We don't all agree on all points and most of us are posting tongue in cheek a lot of the time, so don't worry about revealing that you warm to Hazel Woolley, or other unusual views.

Thanks to @LiterallyKnowsBest for the thread title idea. I also liked @LillianGish's suggestion which was Conversions abound and it’s not just Harrison - Lily’s kitchens, Hazel’s flat, Jazzer’s finances, Bert’s bungalow...come and discuss The Archers - are you a convert or could you be converted? and that seems like a good place to kick off this thread.

Who'll get the bungalow? Pip, Josh or A. N. Other?

Will Lily leave the cold calling behind and launch a bid to run LL when Elizabeth hangs up her clipboard?

Will Jazzer become a financial whiz after mastering Tracy's state of the art budgeting techniques, viz, writing it all down in a little notebook with a kitten on the front?

Often, the continuity announcers are better than the programme.

I don’t know how to tell you that the producers usually write what the continuity announcers say immediately before and after the programme. Although I like to think they occasionally improvise.

Lots of job gloom in Ambridge isn’t there, it’s depressing. Maybe Kirsty is in line for a job but we’ve got Jazzer, Neil, Hannah, Tracey, possibly Lynda and Roy if GG is in peril, all in potential trouble. I hate it.

Just caught up on this week’s episodes. Tracey would never be that stupid and if I ever have to listen to Jazzer’s sex voice again that’s it, I’m done.

Agreed, I thought it was totally out of character for Tracy. Surely Jazzer just needs to ask Tracy to be a bit quieter during sex as many parents have to, not stop having sex entirely?

Anyone else finding the whole Alice/ Amy/Chris/ Fallon storyline boring and unconvincing? Fallon’s holier than thou attitude irritating ? They are separating at Alice’s instigation and after she turned his life upside down. I suspect in the real world few would bat an eyelid at Chris getting some sex elsewhere, with someone he likes moreover.

Did they advertise the rewilding job? Clearly not, else they’d have hundreds of applicants. People wanting to work in an ecology related field are competing for voluntary, unpaid positions.

I definitely am. I don't recall Fallon being a great friend of Amy's anyway.

Sorry I seem to be a tad fixated on Jazzer and Tracey, but surely a room in Grey Gables would still mean she couldn't be... erm... vocal.

I thought I was listening to the wrong podcast - it was ridiculous. Not quite as bad as Tracey and Jazzer but still very, very bad.
