All views on The Archers welcome here! New blood welcomed. We don't all agree on all points and most of us are posting tongue in cheek a lot of the time, so don't worry about revealing that you warm to Hazel Woolley, or other unusual views.

Thanks to @LiterallyKnowsBest for the thread title idea. I also liked @LillianGish's suggestion which was Conversions abound and it’s not just Harrison - Lily’s kitchens, Hazel’s flat, Jazzer’s finances, Bert’s bungalow...come and discuss The Archers - are you a convert or could you be converted? and that seems like a good place to kick off this thread.

Who'll get the bungalow? Pip, Josh or A. N. Other?

Will Lily leave the cold calling behind and launch a bid to run LL when Elizabeth hangs up her clipboard?

Will Jazzer become a financial whiz after mastering Tracy's state of the art budgeting techniques, viz, writing it all down in a little notebook with a kitten on the front?

Kirsty really sounded like she was enjoying the cake last night. Excellent and realistic chomping…

I don’t usually enjoy Snell scenes but this one was excellent. I particularly liked her line about having heard many bad ideas in her time but that this was the worst of them all.

It was all very lovely - but I’m not actually convinced that anyone would care if Kirsty were leaving.

All I want right now is more Brian / Neil skullduggery!

It's realistic that Lynda would care about Kirsty leaving, because it fits in both with her being a busybody and also wanting to keep her minion for the purposes of future village productions.

Well, it is all falling into place for Kirsty just as the 🔮 foretold.

Next we will have the suspense of will she/won't she get the rewilding job (and Rex).

I second the BOOP for this scene, it was lovely. It was unspoken but I think the - camaraderie? - of women who haven’t ended up having children was also a subtext. I really believe in their friendship and fondness for each other - and also that Kirsty would let L browbeat her!

I quite like Kirsty and it's always a joy to hear Lynda (if she's given a decent script). No Plovdiv for Kirsty! (Incredibly unrealistic that there's been no topical insert about Ukraine, but I suppose if nobody from Ambridge is heading to Eastern Europe they can continue to sidestep all mention of it for a bit longer.)

Thank goodness it sounds like we're to be spared a post-christening tea party.

I liked the Kirsty / Lynda scene too. I often don't like Lynda's scenes though - she can be way too hammy at times.

Alice is insufferable. She's indistinguishable from Kate. The birthday is a load of nonsense.

And I want impressed with Fallon. All that guff about it'll be so terrible for Alice to find out- so I'll behave really weirdly around Amy. Drama llama.

What is going on with The Archers? The latest episode with Jazzer & Tracey planning their secret sex sessions as they've been disturbing Alistair was just 🤢

Oh God. I really hope we are not heading for a reappearance of the GG ghost during J and T’s sex scene. Someone has clearly told the SWs to spice things up a bit so we have had the tights scene with A and C and now this….

I can't see them sacking Tracey for a swift one in an empty room, good receptionists aren't that easy to find. I think this is surely setting them up to find their own place. Although I agree that Jazzer's job is in danger.

Surely with Tracey's dad's pension, Tracey's (full time?) earnings, Jazzer's earnings and anything Chelsea is paying in rent once she's earning (probably v soon) they can try to find a bigger place.

They won't want to lose the council house tenancy though. It's currently in Bert Horrobin's name. I assume Tracy has been added, if that's possible, in the hope that she can stay on after Bert dies.
