It is a drama after all.

No, it's an everyday tale of countryfolk. It's not Silent Witness. I want personal relationships and interactions, not a whodunnit or a whodunwhat..

Eastpoint · 19/04/2016 08:58

^ What R4 said. I don't want major drama in my kitchen, or in my life. I want peaceful interactions which don't effect me personally (e.g. parents & children arguing over money/Kate vs Brian). I don't watch soap operas or Silent Witness, I can cope with tension in novels but I'd like it to stay there.

If you want ambiguity then the action should take place off air so we get the aftermath - Knob's been stabbed, what happened, I don't know I only just got here. Listening to a radio drama should be no different to watching a tv drama - if we see it/hear it we should know what has happened.

I've just listened on iplayer and I think Hellin was definitely setting the scene for the discovery that Henry did it. Eventually someone will talk to him and he'll tell them about it.

glowfrog - I'll join you, pitchfork in hand.
At our local hospital prisoners are allowed to have someone with them at the birth.
Patbot is really annoying.

OFFS - why on earth are PatnTone taking Henwee to see Rob? This is just ridiculous.

Boomingmarvellous · 19/04/2016 19:14

Stfu Pat!

Next time ask the hellins barrister if it's wise to allow a potential abuser to see and influence a material witness.

Boomingmarvellous · 19/04/2016 19:16

If Pat thinks Hellin is such an angel and can't possible have been to blame for the stabbing because she was driven to it why the hell is she being so apologetic to that shit knob? One of them was at fault and if it wasn't Hellin it must have Ben him! Isn't she even able to string a logical though now?
